I loved absolver whenever i played it and im often thinking about it yeeaars later. Its so much, but like you pretty much said, its not enough. Its one of the most engaging things for burst of a few days, a week, then you just grow tired of it. But its core is SOOO good you think about it again ages on. I would LOOOOOVVVEEEEE, love, another online open world martial arts game from them that takes after this, using everything they learned from this and from sifu. With more going on, more side content, maybe quests with narratives, dongeons. .. i want this to mate with skyrim. And also have a more gritty realistic graphic style.
I think the premise is a good one, in fact it was a world I liked more than their follow up Sifu. But Sifu had the gameplay, presentation and feel more polished so I think they just need to take the lessons from both Sifu and Absolver and make something more expansive.
I agree I think the open style works better for this genre, although Sifu was technically much better. Maybe if they can take the best of both games they could have a classic on their hands.

@@PlayGames_PG agreed.
I hope Slowclap go back to this style of more open world game with their next title; thry could probably tackle it now after Sifu
