Absolutely! You could grab the Z channels and use those in interesting ways. You could turn the whole environment into a 3D environment or you could give the illusion of depth by using the Z channel for size of your brush strokes or effects.
From what I've gathered, the UltraLeap Leap 2 should be supported, but according to a forum post: "In the latest versions of TouchDesigner, the Leap Motion library is no longer included directly so you’ll need to point the node to the correct installation folder. There are some instructions here: docs.derivative.ca/Leap_Motion_CHOP" Original Post: forum.derivative.ca/t/unable-to-use-leap-motion-in-td/354426/2
Excellent, concise, and clean. Thank you!
Our pleasure! Crystal is a great artist and developer, we're lucky to have her contributing.
Thank you. Just found my old leap motion controller and this is good use for it...
It is pretty wild how long Leap Motion has been around without a hardware update, unlike Kinect's and RealSense. Great to put it back to use!
@@TheInteractiveImmersiveHQ for someone looking to get into hardware tracking devices, which one would you recommend? Thanks!

Thanks! Our pleasure! Check out Crystal's work on instagram (link in the video description), she shares a lot of cool work.
Fascinating stuff.
Is it possible to draw using the Leap Motion in a 3D field ?
