Ill stick with the 4JJ! 3.0L we have in Aus. Tried and true for reliability and performance.

@@jericlamb2676 Yeah 4JJ1 is the 3 litre diesel isuzu have and that we Aussies have as standard on our Dmax. It has lots of room to be tuned and upgraded with little effort for big gains.

My only complain for this is that its a pain in the ass to change oil filters. Other than that, i love my dmax
Oil filter is available everywhere lol its very easy to change every pms

Aqui en honduras muy poco se compra isuzu a pesar q es mejor su motor q el de toyota...!! La razon el consecionario vende repuesto chino y taiwanes pero de mala calidad. Espero la marca izusu levante su buen nombre arruinado por causas de terceros o de los q perseguidos por la codicia hacen mal a un exelente nombre.... Soy isuzu. pero en la actualidad llevo toyota.. Aqui en honduras toyota y corporacion flores son respalto total y seriedad de la marca.. Siempre hay buen repuesto... Isuzu japon tomen nota.
Efectivamente es asi en muchos partes del mundo... El tecnologia Diesel no existen mejores motores que los ISUZU.
En colombia esta minado el trasportede pasajeros de chevrolet con isuzu lo mejor no hay nada mas

too bad opel/vx went bust and got sold to the french. i would have loved this engine on an astra. perhaps with a lineartronic cvt just like subaru (compact, light, durable and efficient). i think it would have been a fantastic combination.
Isuzu got divorced from GM more than a decade ago. GM sold a big chunk of their Isuzu stock to Toyota and now Toyota are using Isuzu to develop their future diesel engines. Opel didn't go bust they lost loads of money but were returning to profit when the Yanks in Detroit sold their crown jewels and they sold Opel. Mazda and Isuzu have signed a deal to jointly develop their next pick up trucks.
Why replace something that has worked perfectly... cant beat a 4jj1..

Wag kang tanga, additional engine choice lang ang ginawa nila. Hindi nila niretired yung 3.0 variants, sa katunayan nag update pa sila from 4JJ1 to 4JJ3.
