I have no intention of being a professional, but it looks like a lot of fun and like a good way to build strength and agility. Also, how did you get started with parkour?

People might say having your feet strapped in makes some tricks way easier. It might be true practically, but on a skateboard you can bail. Dragan board tricks are full committal. Easier but with the caveat that if you fuck up you're going down with the ship. 😂
Actually, the word "snakeboard" has been branded by its creators maybe 30 years ago and this brand has once been sold to a quite large but 'kind of low end "sports goods" group: Marvin(not mervin of couse) llc. In reality they were making money on buying every kind of patent on sports and board sports industry... So when "snakeboarders" décided to use Wood bars and différent designs and sell them they would be Sued in commercial courts. And at that time snakeboard llc was making literally millions on this thing. And they were ignorant on the board sports market bragging on huge boards sports show that this would kill skateboarding although most snakeboarders were actually skateboarders... The brand snakeboard Still exists, the original patent after 20 years is not protected anymore.

Probably similar to carving on a surfskate (like you can still carve on other boards, but surfskates are a bit more built for getting momentum from carving).
