I met Frankie and Bob at the venue they played and I was working in 1975 Charlotte NC. Artist lounge was directly below where we prepped popcorn and coke to sell to the crowd. They came up, and they chatted with a few of us on how we thought the new songs were amazing. And I got their autographs. They were so laid back and down to earth. The 2 summers I worked there, before moving back to Canada, and meeting so many stars of the mid-70's and some comeback artists, like Neil Sedaka, Chubby Checker & more, and meeting The Captain and Tennille when they had their first #1. Maybe it was us being staff, that these stars were so easy going and friendly.

One of my favourite songs of all time ! The 70s incarnation of The Four Seasons is to me, the group's best version, that could still stand up to any rock group in the world. Check out a track called, "Silverstar". Incredible bass guitar line. Although Frankie and Gerry were both tenors, they each had distinct voices.
By the way, that kickdrum and snare opening is one of the most iconic drum openers in history. Five stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Wow, they mentioned about 5 out of 10 of the greatest songs of the 70s just in this clip! I should probably go watch more of his interviews on this channel.

Actually, the song Desiree came out in 1977. That puts it 2 years after Dec. 63

Sad how a story can get lost or stolen. I believe this story more than the story that the broadway show Jersey Boys told. In the Jersey Boys story if i remember right they put the story in that it was Frankie losing his virginity.
