  • I went fly-fishing with Bryan Brennan from Lost Outfitters of Estes Park Colorado. The river was high, and the current was fast due to unusually high snowfall this winter, followed by heavy rain showers over the past few weeks (early June 2023).
We fished for 3 hours, netted over a dozen, and I missed several times that amount until I got back into the groove of setting the hook on small flys....🫠
This is the first time I've fly-fished in almost 2 yrs. That motorcycle crash in April of 2022 took a bit to recover from.
Call them if you are in the Estes area and would like to fish.... from beginners to experts fisherman. Lost Outfitters can put you on the fish.

I grew up I the late 40’s and the 50’s fishing the Big Thompson. Would even ride my bicycle up the canyon fro zLoveland. Taught myself to fly fish. Had many great experiences there and that was long before the first flood. Would love to go through those days sgzin
