I know this piece well. Yet, thanks to this fantastic animation I saw some notes appear which I overheard when only listening to this piece. It caused me to hear them, too. Well done again, smalin!
My favorite of the 32. This is a really nice animation. Interesting to see so many techniques you've played with over the years come together in one video.
Nice animation! I remember when I started watching your videos more than 10 years ago and you can still surprise me! Btw this is my favorite Beethoven Sonata. Congrats and thanks for being here for so long!
My favorite video of yours so far! The way you visualize the tonal relationships is as stunning as it is informative Would love to see your take on some jazz tunes =)
just in case... i am a nurse, and my fate is in the hands of both our Lord and God...I thank you so very much for the Joy you have given to us all... I hope if my time comes... I am blessed... and can hear the music...

Nothing in this work reminds me of anything by Bach, including his Partita #2 in C Minor. The 1st movement (of the Beethoven sonata) reminds me of the melodramatic piano music that accompanied silent movies.
@@smalin Well i don't know him, would he have tried to take it to heart what some random online comment claims about his performance? I expressed my personal taste to the public, if someone agrees, cool, if someone doesn't, not my concern.
So we can only criticize musicians who are alive? We can't criticize any composer nor a lot of famous performers, just because they are death? What a simple way of thinking

Your graphic imagination knows no bounds. Congratulations this is beautiful.

I think this is the most beautiful and exciting music animation I've ever seen. I would like to think that Beethoven would have loved it too.
i like the section at 0:38, when beethoven alternates between major and minor chords
It sure is a good dialogue.
You are pure inspiration, the pieces you chose, your never ending ideas. Thank you for your achievments!
amazing animation. amazing piece of music.
Wow, amazing work Smalin!
Great Work, I had heard the final movement from your channel. But I had never heard the second movement, Its great too!
The 1st movement reminds me of the melodramatic piano music that accompanied silent movies.
Perfect music for watching a silent movie while eating the popcorn.
Superb animations.
I just played this for my Online Class.. Nice coincidence..

The music and animation seem slightly out-of-sync in this one
mrwho995 Ok on my iPad here?
Seems fine to me.
Hey smalin! I found a cool video analyzing the finale of this sonata (specifically this section: 14:55): ruclips.net/video/MgivPHc8ufE/видео.html
Anybody came from Something About Yoshi's Island: Boshi VS Raphael the Raven?
The first movement is rushed so bad
Sorry for being rude, but It is by Beethoven to make a tempo that Allegro Energico.
2:00 played way too hasty
James Boyk died last year, and is unable to benefit from your criticism.
Beethoven being played too hastily ha-ha-ha
