For a guy who really hasn’t had a big interest in NASCAR it is really cool to hear these back stories and details. It really makes the kits that much more cool.
Dude. That is a Super Find you've got. I have to admit. I'm super jealous. 😂 I really really think you have the doorskin off of the car on the kit cover.
Great looking kit and story...In fact Scott needs to give you a page in the mag dedicated to NASCAR... Your love and knowledge is priceless.... just a thought...Weasel....
Thank you for the history of the car, I recently watched the D Earnhardt chat with D Waltrip where he mentioned this car, really would like to build it, hopefully I'll get with the kit of the Month but someone has mucked things up and no one is replying to me at Salvinos, via the conatct form or email, even Jim has mailed them to enquire but still nothing, sorry for the ramble :) anyway thanks again for the history, keep the history lessons coming as I know next to nothing here in England, model on
No problem. I get it. Keep at it. They will make good with you. But I totally understand. There is a lot going with them on a very small crew over there in Ontario CA.
I grew up thinking Richard Petty was God and still bleed Petty Blue, but no doubt my two favorite paint schemes of all time are the DiGard Gatorade and JJ Mountain Dew cars.
It "Could" have been. 😂 I would imagine that all.of the DiGard race team cars had that plug in the frame. 😁 It will be on my scale version of this car. 😂

Keep in mind, too, that one of DW’s least favorite cars was nicknamed “Wicked Wanda.”
😂 Yes! Which one was that? I cannot remember.

I agree!!!!!!
Well, I am a Petty fan, too. So I'm with ya.
Was that the chassis with the wax plug in the jack point that contained the lead shot? I'm thinking it was before this but could be wrong.
