I have a theory about this song. Locoroco is pretty much focused entirely on the music, you use it to fix the world after all. What if, the Moja's song doesn't have magical powers of destruction, but something else? Everything seems to harmonise with the locoroco and how many notes they collect. But, if you listen to this song, a lot of the music is just throwing sick beats all over the place, like it's a very chaotic and all over the place song, no synchronisation or harmony. What if that chaos is what kills the locoroco planet, because it's throwing off the harmony, like throwing in an untuned instrument into a band that doesn't work with said instrument?
Nah man, this song is really good and harmonic. The problem with the Mojas is that they have an opressive worldview and want to drown out all other songs. If they would just sing this from time to time and let others express themselves too, I think they could be part of the party too. Look at Budzy, he has a very similar style of song and he can vibe with the rest of the LocoRocos just fine.
It does feel like it has a very chaotic demenor, but it still feels like it has it's own sense of rhythm, but as a previous comment claimed, it also seems aggressive in a way.
This game represented a big part of my childhood. I'm 17 years old now and listening to this just gives me good memories from when I was away from home at my parents' work places, sitting in a waiting room which had a table with a dish of cookies, I would play this and eat cookies at the same time. Have to say, that was almost 10 years ago. Sounds simple, but it means a lot to me now. Good memories. I was really happy back then.
