It was great!!!! Cant wait till next year. I think I'll be planning my paddle trips better next year. We only got two in cause we did them two days in a row and was tired and sore but it was well worth it!!

I would love to come for this! I’m in Escambia County and I just ran into this. I haven’t been kayaking much and would love to do this.
Way to follow cdc guidelines for covid 19
if you have an underlying condition stay at home but if you are healthy dont live in fear,,, i kicked covids butt in 4 days...........to 99.97 isnt that bad.
Yea, we followed guidelines, just not the theirs.
Yep imagine that people from all over the country hugging and drinking and shaking hands and having a big potluck for 5 days and nobody got any dang covid. Because it's more survivable then the flu any less dangerous but easy to manipulate numbers for everyone's agenda. Some of us however still want to be human and get together and see each other's faces laughing and smiling and that is truly what will kill the virus of fear and hate

@@TripSmith Just because you were thinking the same way and being careless en masse doesn't mean it was right. Some of these rural areas are getting hit the worst. Even if you don't die from covid there are effects that last for who knows how long: memory loss, heart disease, intestinal complications, and black toes from your body attacking it's own covid infested cells. Your irresponsible choices could effect untold people - people who weren't even there(even all the way to Colorado)... doesn't really matter how you feel about it personally. I'm sure glad you had a good time, but we need get all you self-focused people to understand you are the problem; events and attitudes like this are the reason we are at the bottom of the world in this pandemic. You might be comfortable with your choice, but your choice might end up killing someone else. Y'all the reason we're in this 8 months with no sign of stopping. I want you to understand how much your choices can, and do, have impact on others. How would you feel if someone is hospitalized or dies because of good ol" rockadock? Pretending it just doesn't exist or it's no big deal is just terrible. You should read up before hosting potential super spreader events. Shame, used to be a fan. I thought you were better than that Trip.

I have the same Mountain Hardware vest and just dug it out of the closet with fall temperatures here. It's so hard to find a vest with decent pockets. Love the chest pocket, it's the core of my layering.
That vest rocks.... have had it since like 2006 or 2007 lol That pocket really is nice....
I camp and kayak clayhatchee throughout the year maybe ill see yall out there , not much else to do in Geneva county .Ha ha we met one day in Florida gave you and a friend a ride thought i seen you before .

Trip; this is a fantastic thing you and those that help you are doing as a public event just for the sake of fellowship.
I hope it’s an event that grows and continues for generations to come.
I might suggest you try to invest in walkie-talkies for volunteers and sign up reservists.
I use them on my diving sights and in my new business venture where communication is critical.
I hope it continues to grow as well! Thanks for the suggestion.

I likecadding ideas to the pot; Hey; consider kayak canoe paddle board DYI CUSTOM features or pimp my kayak contests as an event.
It would be interesting to see some of the unique custom additions people are making to their water craft.
If they haven’t then an annual contest to show off their skills might develop into a Kayakerfest or kayak build-off.
Our company actually built a portion of the 2005 Discovery channel’s BIKER BUILD OFF series trophy and several of the sets. Well the custom bike era is a past thing but who knows; PIMP MY KAYAK might take its place.

Yea I was going to do that but the city ensured me that there would be plenty of trash pickups..... Someone dropped the ball....

@@TripSmith well; honestly; owning and running a business really restricts my free time.
In order to expand my kayaking zone I’ve built a sail for it and just now fabricating a full keel.
This is my own designs all engineered, constructed and installed prior to testing. The day I test it will be a one night camp out so; it’ll have to be a success or total bust.
I don’t know what it will be but it’ll be a huge solo trip on my kayak. And I will be documenting it via a new Go Pro.
