He didn't. He's a false teacher. So glad to be out of that!! To be born again you must recognize your sin, recognize your complete inability to save yourself. We bring nothing to the table of salvation. You must recognize that Jesus Christ is God and came to this earth born of a virgin for the sole purpose to complete the precious work of salvation. He who knew no sin bore all of the sin of the world upon him on that cross. He died in our place. But he rose again with resurrection power and he lives today. You must recognize and repent of your sin, and call out to God to receive the free gift of salvation. The Bible says we are not saved by our works, it is a free gift of God for those who believe. Sadly this is not being taught in Bill's Church or many other churches today.
Nothing about the cross and the shed blood of Jesus, nothing about our sin and rebellion against a Holy God, nothing about surrendering to God and His Lordship...I wouldn’t call this an altar call for salvation. This might be the most unclear presentation of the Gospel I’ve ever heard.
I am sad that you feel this way. The thing is that you did not hear the sermon that led up to the altar call, so to make the assumption that none of this was covered might be wrong.
It's so great to see the beginning of people's lives being changed for eternity.
short but effective, hitting some imporant points.
How am I born again? I didn't catch how Bill said we could be born again

@@Fluffimuff Wow praise God! thank you!
@@Fluffimuff so sad that this gospel is not being preached by Bill Johnson. It has power to save and provides true hope

I wish I was on keys at that moment!
So sad to see Christ's redemptive work on the cross and the only and true gospel reduced to "statements" and "comments" made by Jesus.
