It's always very humbling to see you effortlessly do parts of the game that take me quite a few tries; The Fury especially. That jackass gives me so much trouble but you danced around him flawlessly. Extremely impressive and a good show of dedication!
I probably died more to the fury than any of the bosses in Dark Souls. It's so hard to avoid that guys attacks and then actually find a suitable opportunity to attack him back.
Without speed running The Fury, sometimes he can "traps himself" in a movement pattern, jumping in the trees, so if you're pretty far from him and have a great vision range you can anticipate where he will jump and directly shoot him many times after each jump. That took me almost one minute.

The Fury is as easy as The Fear : stay far from him and shoot him with any Sniper rifle, when he comes to you, go where he was before etc... If he really wants to stay near you, flee so he won't see you and search you, and try to aim him from distance
Took me a minute to understand wtf even happened with The Fear. Rassvet, the Eva section and The Joy were works of art. Lol at the rapid fire RPG in the Shagohod chase too. Having played this on Expert many times, and knowing how narrow the margin for error is with alerts, this is incredible to watch. You're cutting it SO close SO many times but it's done flawlessly.
at 24:30, directly above the door that leads to the tunnel theres a ledge that can be climbed, if you run at 45 degrees directly into the corner and spam the first person view button and the climb button, snake will clip through the ledge, and fall through the map geometery, landing straight in the tunnel without needing the key. this allows you to skip meeting eva entirely. you also dont need the key she gives you to access the shagohod hangar either. would probably save 30+ seconds.

Watching this doesn’t really help lol, it’s too advanced to even try. I’m assuming you’re going non-lethal. - the cardboard box will put out your fire immediately, and it will never catch fire if you keep it on while you run through flames - if you have the Mosin Nagant, learn tactical reload and tag him with three successive shots. Line up your shots fast but don’t panic, you have a second. Shoot him from down the hallways and sprint around to the other side and try to repeat. 3 times of this and he’s done. - if you’re not going non lethal, blow up the barrels next to him - never ever go onto the raised platform in the back - if he sneaks up on you, roll into him, put on the box, and run for your life You probably figured it out by now, but hope that helps if not.
I've also noticed that you're not as much of a fire hazard if you wear the naked suit, and it also looks badass when you run at him with an LMG in hand, like Rambo

@hikari No it doesn't, just two nights ago finished my 0 kill gameplay and one soldier did died eaten by a vulture (I saw him in The Sorrow's river), but at the end counter, kills was still "0"

I think for games like the MGS series where the story is as important to the game as the gameplay cutscenes should not count as time as it shows off the effort that goes into the story and gives the runner some time to relax especially in games like MGS 3 where some cutscenes are long
Why would you want to watch literal hours of cutscenes again if you are doing a speedrun thats already over an hour. Not only is that boring and takes way longer than needed, but there is no need for the runner to "relax" that frequently. They just want to play as efficiently as possible throughout the entire game.
What was the strategy in knocking on the wall in sokolovs room at the start of the ocelot unit rassvet boss battle? Also, I have a suggestion which could possibly help you shave off another second. The tree climb in dremuchij south, take one less step and you should hang facing north (your back to the screen)
I remember during my speed run you can skip the entire fight with the end by sniping him while he's in a wheel chair. That shaves of about 30+ mins off a fight. It takes that long because you have to chase after him and find him, if you get close he flashbangs you and then runs away.

The caves were pitch-black on my TV as a kid and I couldn't change the screen brightness so essentially I had to navigate them blind!

Because some place are slow. Especially, rain, snow and fog.
