Suzuki Manji M-20 Diatonic Harmonica Part 1

Brendan Power demonstrates the all-new high performance harp from Suzuki: the MANJI. Every component has been designed from scratch: comb, coverplates, reeds and reedplates, for the ultimate in response, tone, durability and good looks.
The comb is a specially formulated wood/resin composite which simulates the structure and sound of natural wood, but without the problems.
The light but strong stainless steel covers have fully open backs, vent holes at the sides, and front-mounted single attachment screws. They have taken the traditional form forward with a beautiful clean contemporary design.
But the killer app is that, in the Manji, new, phenomenally accurate reed-fixing processes have now enabled Suzuki to achieve the CLOSEST REED/SLOT TOLERANCES OF ANY MANUFACTURED HARP. This gives amazing response, volume and sweet crisp-edged tone. In addition, The Phosphor Bronze reeds have are longer and narrower for easy, stable overblows/overdraws and high durability.
And all this comes at a very affordable price! The Manji will be shown for the first time at the August 2009 SPAH Convention in Sacramento, and released later this year.
