I'm three weeks behind you lol every time I start the next episode you are the most recent comment, with exactly 1 like every time. I am your 2nd like on every video lol
Harley Race R I P Champion
JC angry great start to the program
I also read alot I also agree with your wisdom
Weeks of waiting
Rest In Peace Harley Race.
When I saw the news I immediately checked Jim's Twitter to see if he said anything.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
I see new Corny, I click. It's that simple.
Exactly I kno he's practically a come to life get off my lawn when it comes to wrestling grouchy old man but i enjoy eveey second of it. And as far as his passionate takes on stupid outlaw mud show Indy deathmatch and comedy wrestling hes very correct. Who the hell wants to watch big giants and guys that look like they can squash you doikng stupid comedy bits. I can watch a movie or comedy show for that! I wanna see ppl getting tossed and twisted like pretzels
Damn right
@@ews6724 Hell yeah.. Check out #C3WRESTLING.COM
10:30-12:06 Completely agree with Jim. I want to be able to read an actual book, as in holding a physical copy in my hand with pages and a cover. I think all this new age electronic crap like kindles and everything of the like is stupid but that's just me. Like Jim I'm a collector and I like to have actual physical books and items on my shelves.
100% agree but since I am of the younger generation I think Jim is talking about didn't like the kids don't read part. Actually more kids read now than in the 60s or at least more claim they read in surveys. One of the biggest tragedies of the Modern World is the closing of Libraries which was an Oasis for hundrends of years now ruined.
Agree completely the holding a brand new book opening it up even the smell of it all adds to the experience
@@rickyhunt4075 citation for the claim that kids today read more. I was alive during that period and worked in a bookstore for part of it. Book sales are around 1/10th of what they were. Comic books used to sell hundreds of thousands of books, now a big title is 40,000 copies. Your statement is not true.
@@milesalpha1 Physical book sales may be down but reading books haven't decreased significantly in fact it has risen over last few years due to lockdown. Many people now particularly young people simply read online books, kindle, etc. You are right about comics which haven't risen in popularity in awhile which I find confusing given how popular Comic characters have become in movies and TV.
It's official, Jim draws more than Raw
Biggest draw in the business
Your next stop, the Cornette Zone.
You are about to witness a man who doesn't give a f**k.
"Picture if you will.........One man who truly gives no f**ks".
Paddy Miller And this man has a tiny
Dog that gives no FKs to the
Point that Not even a peach seed can pass through his tiny dog’s ass😂
I love you Jim, but you're wrong as hell. Digital books allow people to have MASSIVE collections of books in a day and age where they can't afford a living quarters large enough to house a real collection even a 100th of that size.
Stop being poor and get a job
Jim Cornette does make some valid points about modern society and the SJW generation tho I don't agree with everything he says
Its pushed by his political party is the irony.
20:10 How I’m going to start answering my phone.
Sad news for the wrestling world today.
Harley Race has passed away.
what!?
Just saw that Twilight Zone on Netflix Jim talks about. Am only 26 but I always loved Twilight Zone and Andy Griffith. Not that big a fan of classic shows but those 2 and Hitchcock films always have a special place in my heart.
Can't go wrong w/ the Hitchcock films, but the 1 hour tv episodes r fantastic. I'm a Hitchcock buff if u can't tell.
I can't get enough Jim Cornett he's the truth of pro wrestling
I enjoy Jim Cornette and by no means do I aim to disparage Cornette by saying this; this episode is the perfect example of Cornette's contrast to modern wrestling. In particular, AEW/Omega/Bucks.
The fundamental approach to pro wrestling by performers such as the Young Bucks, Joey Janella, Omega, Ibushi is very irreverent and often ironic in a Post- Wrestling sense if you will.
It is unfortunate people misread Cornette's criticism of modern wrestling due to not understanding Cornette's deep reverence for pro wrestling. By doing so, I think people miss a lot of value in Cornette's experience.
That schism is simply rooted in the approach being one of reverence. Understanding perspective I think would benefit both defenders and haters in the context of Cornette's views.
Good episode.
" you want some good news. I'll give you motherfuckers some good news" I love ❤️ that guy!
46:38 "those 32" thighs" what a specimen Doug Furnace was 😂🤣🤣 Corny cracks me up so much my family must believe I'm mental just lol in the middle of night! Cornett is a national treasure! He's my crack rock! I just can't get enough! 🤭😆🤣😂#CultofCornett
Sleep well friends.. 😴😴😴😴
It is kind of sad realizing that not only is The Day the Earth Stood Still so old that people today wouldn't get the reference, Army of Darkness is itself so old that they wouldn't even recognize the phrase from there.
Except they could get reference as there was a not that old remake starring John Wick aka Bill S Preston Esq aka Neo.
To think that this was taped pre-Marko Stunt signing with AEW.
@keller blair Nope. He actually signed with AEW.
I love when Corny sings, he's hilariously bad.
Can't be great at everything I suppose
Brian Last NEEDS to watch 2 movies, The Day The Earth Stood Still (the original) and Army of Darkness.
Rocky Horror.
@@marcelmoreau2733 C'mon, let's get weird...Flesh Gordon and Wizards.
"There is no such thing as an E-book. If it's not on paper, it ain't a fucking book"
fucking truth right there!
It's still a book. And it's more confortable to use something light as an ebook to read huge fucking books you can't read in bed. I still prefer a paper book to get away from technology, though.
I want cornette to be 🇬🇧 prime minister!
We need him!
As much as I enjoy Jim’s rants listening to him genuinely being happy reviewing this show is fantastic, the passion Cornette has for pro wrestling is amazing 👏
R.I.P. HARLEY RACE. A LEGEND IS GONE BUT WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. THE TOUGHEST S.O.B. IN ANY BUILDING OR RING!
Earth stood still and a twilight zone reference? Damn....
I love the Thrillseekers vs. Heavenly Bodies match!!
Very lucky to have the dvd purchased and signed from the legend himself. What a show it was. You will never get a show as good as that again
Jim and brian, keep up the great work!!!👍
I'm 27 and I've grown up my whole life knowing about The day the earth stood still lol
Glad I'm not the only one lol
@@hojisesshosekiplays4507 Never seen the movie. I thought Jim was talking about Evil Dead 3 - Army of Darkness.
This maybe my favorite thumbnail art because this was one of the best Twilight Zone episodes ever.
Yeah one of my faves too! This one starred that guy Meredith who played The Penguin in the old Batman t.v. show. I love the ending, classic!
"Change is the shits!" That's goin' on a t-shirt right next to "Hate is a hell of a motivator."
this is the angriest and funniest i've heard him start a show.
Cornett answering the phone with a hearty "fuck off!" Is the absolute perfect way to answer the phone
That poor AT&T employee.
I doubled over clutching my sides for two minutes after that LMAO!!!
Jim with the twilight zone reference. Love it.
I also loved that episode.....sad for Burgess Meredith....
O so it isn’t one of the SaudiMania shows. when ratings fall, the legends rise
Great Godsmack quote!
THANK GOD!!! A NEW EPISODE OF JIM CORNETTE!!! I was starting to twitch!
Squat deadlift and bench: Doug furnas hit a very respectable 990lb squat 825lb deadlift and 600lbs bench press equipped at 246lbs for back in time thats world class for certain and very very good even now in fact its a higher total than mark henry (though mark was under more difficult conditions and drug free) In lifting among our crowd Furnas was highly respected. his squat form was incredible. as far as pure numbers go Furnas, Ken patera, Billy Graham, Mark henry and Strowman are the top tier for strength in wrestling Eric Bugenhagen in developmental of NXT is also knocking on their league too.
Evolve's 10th Anniversary (which in addition to having some excellent matches like Matt Riddle vs Drew Gulak (Austin Theory vs JD Drake was also good too and I wouldn't mind seeing either of them [Austin Theory or JD Drake] show up in MLW where Cornette could call matches of theirs) also had Paul Heyman show up unexpectedly) and Slammiversary XVII (which included a 15 minute Sami Callihan vs Tessa Blanchard match that Meltzer gave 4 and a quater stars to and was also the PPV's main event match) need the Jim Cornette review.
"I told everybody to just cuss themselves out." And i started laughing so hard, i was crying!
"Here's Brian" .......🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hell yeah cant wait for season 2 of Darkside of the ring!
Anyone hear what the episodes are on this season?
the gangstas walked that night to Shut em Down by public enemy.
Yo get a UPS / battery backup. Its only like $80 and a power blip wouldn’t kill power to your pc.
'Michael Rennie was ill the day the earth stood still......'
The lost first 30 minutes of this episode is the new Hart Vs. McGee. We gotta find it!
“And things that piss me off”....we’re gonna be here a little while
Cornette has communist tendencies just sayin k can say dumb stuff and be a cartoon character to make money but dammit joey ryan dont you create a dumb character and make money or your a scrooge on wrestling
Corny, thought's on 24/7 Title, when you get a chance
' " After Butch Reed Spoke to that person for a few minutes...nobody had their feelings hurt"? I bet " that person" feelings were hurt, along with his jaw.
96 dr death and gordy wrestled the Eliminators and perry did the elbow drop off the scaffold
Rip harley race
You'd think The Podcasting Lion would have a UPS...
Time enough at last is my favorite Twilight Zone episode as well. Great show Jim!!
I feel Brian. I lost my power for 44 hours here in NJ.
Night of the legends is still on youtube.
I was hoping there'd be more "Dark Side of the Ring" episodes.
I heard there was an episode on the Benoit Murders but haven't found it
@@rickyhunt4075 Not in Season 1
@@rickyhunt4075 that's gonna be on season two
@@Djtheboss2017 Have they released the topics for Season 2?
@@rickyhunt4075 It seems out of the ten episodes, only the Chris Benoit and Brawl for all episodes have been confirmed so far.
How can it be every member of the Midnight Express, without Norvell Austin?
I felt super smart to know that I got the movie reference, but felt like an idiot when Brian looked it up and it turned out Jim wasn't talking about Evil Dead 3 - Army of Darkness.
Lol that rod sterling image is spot on
Who would make the burgers? Twilight Zone que
You need to be able to see Jim the whole package he cracks me up
God, I nearly fell over laughing at "all right, let's just put the steering wheel in the fuckin' back seat."
I like how you can order a ebook version of his book on Amazon after all his rant about ebook lol
Brian Lee was s'pose to train me 2003 lied up moved to Orlando for TNA R Truth is another dream seller
Change really is the shits. Long live the audio tape
RIP Harley Race. How about an omnibus of his career and/or Jim's interactions with him.
Also glad I finally got some Jim Cornette experience so my week is saved
I have the night of legends in my collection .
I need to watch this again lol
@5:12 secs .. 🗣 *Episode* of the *Twilight* *Zone* { *80’s* }
All the best *Chaps* from Tottenham, London,UK!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I fucking love Jim cornette
Love Jim Cornettes taste in films. The day the earth stood still is one of my favourite movies think i'll watch it again this weekend, hope Brian watches it too
Unfortunately people don't read magazines like they used to or physical books like they used to. One of the saddest news stories I keep hearing about is all the Libraries being shut down
Loved that classic si fi talk...i wont name the titel..Jim. Cornette might not aprove..😀😀
All the respect to all the effort you put in for our entertainment without letting anyone in your way thanks MR. Cornette!!
Keep up the good work Jim and Brian
Love the Day the Earth stood still reference only a couple minutes in. Has Jim ever seen the Keannu Reeves version.
That keeps Gort from doing bad shit LOl, Brian is clueless to old movies and pop culture refrences.
The day the earth stood still
"Anyway"
Night of the Legends is on RUclips. Just saying.
Rod Serling?!?! Great art! Flyin' Brian, the podcast lion, Swami's pappi . . .
The Day the Earth Stood Still, Brian!
And thank you for "THE MOTHERSHIP!"
Jim can easily claim the book of the dead
Everyone knows Jim hates change
Everyone should
Great Shoot Jim!!😎🐐🐐
Corny is right I was yelling at my phone that he didn't know that reference
This is the greatest thing I've ever heard!!!!
Harley Race was an absolute LEGEND.RIP Mr.Race...
HAHA, that opening though! "Brian!!!"
I have the "Night of Legends" DVD. Got it off walmart.com a few years ago for around $12.
I'm getting mad because....Army Of. darkness? Really? Klattu Verandah Necktie?
Finally new Corny!
What a nice surprise. A new "The Jim Cornette Experience" on my birthday? And it's about "The Night of Legends" which I attended as a youngun, life is really good.🤘🤘
Happy Cake Day, bud!
@@RC-lo4sq thanks man
AT&T employee: "Let me see, who am I going to call next...JIm Cornette...(Dials number)..."FUCK OFF!" Greatest moment of all time!
Yeah Robert Fuller and Jimmy Golden had WCW tv tapings in Orlando on August 4th, 5th and live WCW Saturday Night on the 6th so getting them for Night of Legends wasn't going to happen.
Mr. Cornette have Brian Last back up audio to Edison Wax Tubes! True old school! F*ck Twitter, call a middle school student to fix it for you. It is what I have to do,
Go Jim Go
And "The Day The World Stood Still" is a great old Charley Pride Country And Western song.B.W.
Jim Cornette says "He already knew when the AEW show was going to air" Jim Cornette as the Revivals manager in AEW CONFIRMED
