Damn ... Todd kills on guitar here, so very tasteful. Great song that I'd never heard him do solo, and as usual, he sings it with so much feeling. Love the song, always have ... love it all. Thanks for posting.

Fun to hear Todd vocals on this song. I'm so used to Kaz singing it.

badass guitar solo - reminds me of Welter Becker with this one, also Buzzy Feiten - Feiten with Edgar Winter & Mike Shrieve were youngest cats playing at Woodstock - all 3 had sensational solos on that stage

Doesn't sound solo to me unless He pre-recorded everything else, but not sure if it's Utopia either, this is from "Deface The Music" which was a Utopia tribute to The Beatles, which was a commercial flop but I LOVED It!!!

A real shame that this entire gig was apparently filmed by the BBC but never released. Has someone got the reels somewhere?

You could be right, I've seen Todd "solo" using sampling before, somehow this has a feel of live for me...or I'm a dumbass...heh...If You find out let me know...THX Vampy

Well, he's triggering samples from the 'Deface' recording and singing and playing guitar on top of it in what seems to be a 'solo' show. I'd love to see Utopia do 'Deface The Music' and the 'Network' or 'Oblivion' record from start to finish. It, too, was a great era for the band. I've always thought 'Deface The Music' was brilliant, and not nearly as plagiarizing as people seem to espouse; the nod was to the Fabs, but the songs were original, creative & some were better than the counterpart.
