  • Mount Schank is a 100 m high dormant volcano in the southeast corner of South Australia and is situated approximately 12 kms from Mount Gambier. Mount Schank was once a active Volcano that erupted approx 5000 years ago. Mount Schank is a tourist destination now and there is a walking trail to go up and around the rim of the crater. From the rim experience 360 views into the crater and of the surrounding countryside. The trail comprises mostly of a limestone planks.
