I’ve got my first ever Harry Potter book signed by Daniel Radcliffe when I met him in 2017. It’s the German original hard cover edition of the philosophers stone. It’s the most precious thing i own besides the Marauders Map he also signed for me. Sadly i don’t have any signed book by J.K. Rowling :(
i have a autographed photo of Hagrid, i got when i was 11, and i remember the lady next door telling me it was a fake, and that Robbie has other people signed it for him, it really upset me even till this day, but when she said that i took a close look at it in the light, and you know what i found a thumb print a big one. That was enough proof for me to know it was real,

It came with a letter and a hologram sticker on the back and it is my most prized possession ❤ The collectors edition of The tales of beedle the bard is definitely a most wanted item for me, maybe one day!

It is very important to do our homework before buying any signature unless, of course, it's signed in person. I like that J K Rowling uses holograms to authenticate.... :) I think there should be a spell that protects buyers... that unless the sig is the real deal, the signature will disappear as if the faker used invisible ink. (Yes, I have a vivid imagination). lol

I tried buying a signed copy from an online seller years ago but didn't went through with it bec the price is cheaper than I expected. I always believed if it's too good to be true, it probably is.. I thought it's either stolen or a forgery.. Nway, love this vid! A great help for other collectors out there that might be taken in by scams. 💜💜💜
Peter, I think your videos are some of the only ones I watch again and again. They are so helpful for collecting. I would say that all your signed books and early printings are "Holy Grails" to me but then again I have really just started collecting. I have been trying not to throw too much money at the hobby yet too... but I am sure that I will, one day. Trying to get as many first printings of the American and Brittish books as I can right now and am 100% interested in getting several signed books.
So far my rarest book is a 5th printing of Philosopher's Stone in fine/like new. (It was not cheep even though the spine on the dust jacket faded slightly - only fault) Even my 10th and 14th printings were pricey though too. I have a 2nd printing of bloomsberry Chamber coming and first printings of Bloomsberry 3-7. I have first printings os Scolastic's 2-7 but am trying to find Sorcerer's Stone for a price I think is fair for a book that they printed 30,000 coppies of. I especially love books printed before Jo's second US book signing tour. I feel like they are more connected to her and the history some how. She is like the only person I really geek out about... Most other famous people I would just be normal around. If I met Jo there is no telling what would happen. I'd Probably loose it... Just saying...

I have a signed Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire with golden ticket and authenticated by the Harry Potter Specialist that I am considering selling, but I want to make sure that I am 100% accurate in describing it’s condition.
