That door ding speaker got wet, that's what they sound like when rain gets in them. It is a tiny speaker in those old cars. May have left the window open when it rained. it is no big deal. That find looks really clean.

Perhaps the hood isn't aluminium for weight distribution since all the weight is in the back.
