Honestly, I think it’s a really great large town to work and go to school at. I currently work in Hays and there’s actually a ton of job opportunities there. And it’s a community that’s constantly expanding in size!
I grew up in and around this town, and still live in Hays. I play mostly metal, punk, goth, etc. But I grew up on blues, and I have been around my fair share of country music. I really dug the vibe of this song, and it has an authenticity to it that most topping country music is seriously lacking these days. Sorry the reason for your stop was a horrendous one that led to a shit experience. Hope you can make it back around under more positive terms, and get to experience more of the town.
