2:11:00. All those Goldberg signs, foam fingers, the fans are still really with him and only really into this match, he's still so over, so much heat and energy. Buttt let's never give him the world title after starrcade '98, have him lose the US championship he won here the next night and never win that again either. In the first round of a tournament for the world title. Hmm I know! Make david arquette and vince Russo world champ instead! Give it to jeff Jarrett 60 times! It'll save WCW from losing millions!
my take is that Russo had to be under wwf contract and there is no way in hell Russo left wwf without vince knowing it. I think Russo was a plant sent by wwf to ruin wcw.
Right, Eric. Russo as an on screen figure was awful. This wannabe cool loud guy just screaming the f-word the whole time. No substance behind the Charakter. Your character Easy E had a story. Easy E liked money and power and he liked to abuse his power to get his boys over. But what was Russos character? What was his motivation? He was suddenly there as the boss. Never saw the guy before and suddenly we had this loud screaming guy from New York there and nobody knew what he wants and why he was so angry and loud 😂 sorry for the bad English. I’m from Germany

There was some story …. Mjf was about to eclipse Kenny’s reign so Kenny wanted a shot at stopping that from occurring and came up short in an AEW title classic that surprisingly ended clean. The build was extremely short no argument there but there was absolutely a story.

umm did Eric say he actually came up with the Storyline at Backlash 2000 of laying down ...then they were in there limo on the way to the hotel when Vince Russo came out an cut the promo??? You okayed the same type of angle a year later of Jarrett laying down for Hulk Hogan so i'd have to say ..that Hulk prol said lemme lay down ..so i don't have to work an we can pick this storyline up months down the line..which never happened..which Hulk never cared about because unlike other wrestlers who actually Love to Work ..Hogan didn't love to work an now the FACT that he can't work i'd have to see he must regret all the days he got paid not to work an do bogus stuff like this ..checkmate Eric..please dude be honest on your own podcast you say "I can't even figure this out" Conrad is like ..its apparent...

Hogan wrestled three matches in 18 months without throwing a punch.
Ironic meltzer criticized someone’s looks
I always hated it when WCW would mention things like writers during the broadcast.
Lex Luger is not dressed like a superstar? Oh right because a superstar wears an nWo shirt and jeans. 🤔
1998 is the best set ever not 99
I think Russo was a plant sent by wwf to ruin wcw.
i knew it eric is a vampire at nights
Right, Eric. Russo as an on screen figure was awful. This wannabe cool loud guy just screaming the f-word the whole time. No substance behind the Charakter. Your character Easy E had a story. Easy E liked money and power and he liked to abuse his power to get his boys over. But what was Russos character? What was his motivation? He was suddenly there as the boss. Never saw the guy before and suddenly we had this loud screaming guy from New York there and nobody knew what he wants and why he was so angry and loud 😂 sorry for the bad English. I’m from Germany
Vince Russo (unofficially reprising his role as Vic Venom) was a brash New Yorker. That's all he needed to be.
@@AWrestlingHistorian like I said I’m from Germany. Idk how a typical New Yorker acts and what it means and why it gets heat from the people in America. For me as a fan back than it felt like he has no character and no personality. Just a guy that’s very rude.
@@GregoriB98 Now you understand what a typical New Yorker is.
If DDP thought of this promo on his own, then he should never have been allowed near a mike again. If Russo wrote this for him he should have taken a flame to that script and walked out. Good God that was one of the cringiest things I've ever heard, wrestling or otherwise.
Ugh God that DDP promo 🙄
Been so long might be worst promo ever. That’s what happens when you try sending a message speaking into that little mic lol
In English this time..
The guy that bashes Russo tanked every metric in the company by September 1999 lmao
This Kimberly n ddp promo was just embarrassing. The whole thing sucks so bad. wcw w russo was an absolute joke.
Bluechew on a pole Match pls, Conrad
Audio absolutely sucks on the podcast of this epidode. Glad it’s not like that here
There was some story …. Mjf was about to eclipse Kenny’s reign so Kenny wanted a shot at stopping that from occurring and came up short in an AEW title classic that surprisingly ended clean. The build was extremely short no argument there but there was absolutely a story.
Any actual boxing fan scored thatbfight for Tyson Fury. Was a excellnet showing by Francis though. Wasnt much controversy
Conman so smug talking about Russo. How bout you have him on your show and debate him with Eric or that coward Cornette. Everybody likes to bash Russo, but do it to his face. All these old farts come off like children talking behind people's back.
I pay for youtube premium to avoid adds... just sayin 🤣
bro, eric talks a lot of shit, russo is the man bro.
umm did Eric say he actually came up with the Storyline at Backlash 2000 of laying down ...then they were in there limo on the way to the hotel when Vince Russo came out an cut the promo???
Ok Rick will save this show..... and im out. This was so bad you cant even enjoy making fun of it...
hello mr bischoff
Doubt you’ll see this but tell guy evans he owes a long overdue phone call. He hasn’t responded anytime I tried reaching out. His son went to school with my son in pre kindergarten and i was helping them out by watching his son for a few days so they were able to get ready to move to Florida from here in Brooklyn. He leaves here and he forgets the little people along the way. Very upsetting.
They got shallacked pretty good EB says when they were not to far off where they have been for the last year. So silly how he hates AEW and doesnt even try to hide it.
Why should he hide it?
3rd comment, 3x the charm. 😊
You're not 1st. You're last
Leg Luger about as smart as a football bat smh if the guitar didn’t budge didn’t give a damn about bagwells skull why in the world would u turn around and smash it to bits and dust on the turnbuckle 🤦 I must say that’s just a lack of common sense wcw 99 2000 2001 style.
If given the option for large sum of money or lunch with Mr Biscoff, im taking the cash and paying eric for a sit down. Much love from Chicago
Oh come on😖 Don't have people calling in and then showing them!! It ruins the show😫
What's wrong with you bro
Read again bro!!
Well that's dumber than an alabam fan trying to understand simple logic
Goddamn pal
