- 📌 Aeon R engine: 100% power unlocked. Achieving a milestone hot fire at 268K pounds of thrust at full power.
✔️ This week: Fully integrated Aeon R engine achieves 100% power in hot fire test.
✔️ December 2023: Aeon R MDC at 70% power.
✔️ October 2023: R Stand testing facility activated.
✔️ ≤ 2 years: Hundreds of full-scale engine tests conducted across the Aeon R program.
Hats off to the team making blue fire and hot metal, advancing the maturity of the Aeon R program towards our final flight engines.

That little alarm sounds so cute
It kind of reminds me of Japan's EAS alarm 😂
Awwww that alarm is kind cute- HUEeEEEEeeEBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Whoop whoop whoop
Cute little alarm and then roaring rocket engine
sounds like pacman 😂
its TRYING ok. give it a break.
Keep up the good work.
Indeed. This looks great. A successful test. 👍
Godspeed Terran R
the fact that it is mostly 3d printed is insane
I always love spotting the green flash at startup :) Awesome video
Have you heard about the Green Flash that occurs at sunrise and sunset just as the sun peeps above or below the horizon?
@@SlipKnotRickyWell, TBH, that's a little different (as well as TEA and TEB).
@@ryomichael Oh, of course but it reminds me of that...
congrats! beautiful work
Wow. The 3D printed Engine is fascinating.
The exhaust note is impressive!
outstanding!
Awesome!
The whole area moved. That was aggressive. I liked it.
❤❤❤ 100%
Dang that’s hot
Let's hope we see a hop test within 6 months.
That's a little power-house, ain't it?!💯
3d printing go go go😎
they pull the earth
Can we have link to that alarm?
great
intro to KRAFTWERKS we are the robots
what is that small nozzle on the left?
Lol, that safety beeper seems a little outmatched.
Do you have an aerospike?
whoa
Wooooot wooooot wooooot
Rocket on Wayne! Rocket on Garth!
Maybe someone here can answer this, but what is the function of the outlet/exhaust on the left that vents right before engine shutdown. Is this to release pressure or?
Damn, that's a tough clown down there
the alarm sounds like a gibbon! 😂
Sounds like that Australian bird
Put that suck pump on 110% juice the beans a little and strap it to a sea skimmer. That will give good vibes to anyone who has ever seen a butterfly.
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Bwoop, bwoop, bwoop.
*opens gate to hell*
I'm watching the floor at the bottom left. What is happening and what is it called? Is it fog or vapor? Is it cavitation?
Looks to me like it’s a bit of water from a suppression system as well as dust being dragged around by the currents from the exhaust interacting with the air around it.
Yo holy crap that’s wild to see
That alarm doesn't give you much time to get out of there
Gnar gnar
Bit spicy that motor.
My baby 😊
would that fit in my miata
SUUUPAAAA HOTTT
I think I spotted a leak.
goofy ahh alarm
mighty impressive work tho ngl.
Утро в туалете, после того как поел острых крылошек
Spicy taco bell be like:
There’s something about that that reminds me of the day after a hearty meal at Taco Bell…🤔
kinda looks like its engine bell could be longer, like looks like exauhst like spreads out after leaving nozzle, which mean in denser atmospheres, it might be more efficient, but idk exactly, maybe its designed like that, idk tho
Probably not worth building an expensive nozzle extension when you are worried about verifying the chamber’s ability to sustain nominal operation
@@seasickrhino8926 ah i see, like true theyre prob testing the other parts of engine first, makes sense
Батуты Рогозина?
Looks like a Christmas tree.
로켓랩하고는 완전 다르네 렐러티비티 스페이스가 최고다. 진짜
And just like that your steak is done!
Sexy! Looks like it went great!
No one uses lbs its KN how many KN was it
Obviously some people still use lbs. Do the conversion….9.8N = 2.2lbs.
mmm
Кажется это испытание фрактальной поверхности колокола?
Really cool! That's enough thrust already, but would be cool if you could make it even better. Maybe you could inspire by Raptor 3 and try to think how to simplify all this design so there are less parts visible and more electronics.
@@airbusboeing2502Who the hell do you think designs SpaceX's hardware?
Every engine on a test stand looks that crazy. It's overloaded with sensors so they can understand what's going on. It will look much neater and cleaner when it's strapped to a rocket.
@@airbusboeing2502 Your comment seemed to imply that "actual engineers" aren't at SpaceX, so that's what I was responding to in particular. Besides, I don't see it as anybody suggesting that everything needs to be done like SpaceX, I would take it as just hypothesising, because it wouldn't be that surprising if Relativity took more inspiration from them considering they already are. There are certainly lessons to be learned from their success, and I believe the CEO has already cited SpaceX as a large inspiration for pushing the industry.
@@airbusboeing2502 The problem is that it's kind of hard to argue otherwise when no other private space company has had anywhere near the same success, so in my mind it makes it very hard to understand the motives of other companies that basically refuse to innovate and cause more harm than benefit to the industry. Relativity is one of the few that I think actually have potential.
Thank a White guy for this technology as well. 😉 We’re amazing!
Great business plan. Promise the investors a 3d-printed rocket, then print a tube, so that it is heavy and coarse with the technology you develop, then excuse yourself and use sheet metal instead. Add engines manufactured using an off-the-shelf printer, as all your competitors do and... tadaaa
Кто ответит, в чем смысл новости?
?
Like all liquid engines, oxidizer is pumped into the engine, just as the fuel is.
That rocket motor is an absolute mess. The crazy amounts of plumbing. Take a lesson from SpaceX.
This is a prototype, which is why they didn't make it pretty for you. Hope this helps.
И всё? 😂👎🏻
