I absolutely mean no offense please when I ask this truly innocent question.
I love watching step and all the kinds of dance like this, I could do it for hours. Is this traditionally and primarily something that the African American community does? What are it's roots? It's history? I honestly don't know anything about it other than I love to watch it and I am always impressed by the dancers; I love the rhythm of it all. All the videos I see show African Americans so I am guessing it holds a significant cultural place of importance.
Will someone please educate me?
