- Hello everyone. It was truly a long day for my family. Little Nguyen had to be hospitalized at 3 a.m. due to severe toothache. I had to leave home to take Nguyen to the city for treatment. The district hospitals were not able to treat Nguyen because he has a rare heart condition, and too much pain could stop his heart. That's why we decided to go to the city for treatment. It was a 170-kilometer journey to reach the city. Perhaps this was the day Grandpa felt the loneliest in the cucumber field because he no longer heard Nguyen's voice. I hope my Dad will be okay and Nguyen's treatment will be successful. I appreciate the help and love from everyone for my family, especially for Nguyen. I pray that God will protect us all. The little boy feels all the love you and Grandpa give him and he is very attached to the adoptive mother. The adults love the baby very much and it would be cruel for the biological mother to take him back. Please don’t wish for such a thing. You are now a family and a very special one. I noticed in these videos that the adults use chop sticks and the younger kids use these big spoons. With the kind of food the adults cook .. the chop sticks would be more useful than a huge awkward spoon. And not too many adults are TEACHING the youngsters how to clear, plant, harvest, sell the products that they need to know to survive in their world.
