I planted seeds spring 2020 and I think I see some forming now, a year later. They're little nubby looking irregular balls right now, but I think they must be Poppies. I watched a couple of seed germinating time lapse videos and the little balls look similar to mine. If that's the case, I'll have poppies soon. What a great video showing us how easy they are to sow. Thank you!
I’m in Canada in Niagara’s and I got a few up and they are tiny so far taking forever to grow and most died I want the good ones from Afghanistan that grow huge how can I get the good ones are they available for sale i thought of trying to germinate the poppy’s seed from my begal hopefully it works

I’m thinking of just scattering these seeds in gaps in the border and hoping for the best. Is this likely prove a fruitless task? I’m in Ireland
Irrigation of the poppy plant is done every few days?

What growing zone? I'm 6b. Will this work in December? Should I start outdoors or indoors?
I'm in the UK and wouldn't like to extrapolate (beyond my paygrade!) what I do to US growing zones - sorry!
