Wow, thank you so much for posting this video. I just graduated high school yesterday, and I got admitted to this school with an amazing scholarship. I currently live in the US but because of my dad's service in the military, I've grown up in different countries and I wanted to continue to pursue my education overseas. Another thing I really love about this school is the benefits they offer military veterans and active duty and all the wonderful extracurriculars they have at this school. They offer the yellow ribbon scholarship, purple heart scholarship, and other military benefits as well. I want to continue to learn and have an enriching experience outside of the campus which is why I think studying in a different country is so valuable. I grew up in Japan and England so I am used to having that cultural immersion that opened so many different worlds for me. The emphasis on service is also another wonderful component about this school. Saint Louis University is among one of the most renown universities in the States for service opportunities. In my high school, we did a lot of service work and partnered with a global poverty organization to help sponsor families in third world countries and SLU also has that love for service as well. Furthermore, if you are from the US, Saint Louis University has a wonderful team of counselors that will help guide you through the process of getting your visa to stay in Madrid for as long as you want to study there. I talked to a wonderful counselor and she's always ready to talk whenever I need to. There are also many different housing options, but what I love about the school is that they have host families that can have joint living, or semi independent living options. So if you want to kind of be more independent but have a family check on you regularly, you can have that option (which is cheaper too). Overall, I am so so so excited to be attending this school and study psychology and I am really happy I found this school. You've been literally everywhere and this is just the next step in that journey. I hope it goes well for you there and I'm sure it will, honestly the support system there seems great and the people I talked to were really happy there.
Testing is going to be up to each teacher in an American system. That Spanish style of "blank answer is better than a wrong answer" probably would not be very common there, as that's a very traditional Spanish thing. We see that a lot in Peru too. Can't stand it.

Where are you studying now if I may ask? I find the public system in Spain is much more traditional, while private universities there tend to be more modern in their approaches to learning. But they still prescribe classes for you. That's the big difference with an American school, you choose your courses for the most part and so you have a lot more control.

Oh no way! I've actually got a video about Nebrija coming out tomorrow! I definitely think their course offerings are a lot more modernized compared to what you see in public schools, but it doesn't surprise me that the same marking system is still in place. I doubt you'd see it much at SLU, especially cause a lot of the teachers come from the US to work there temporarily.

Do they also grade like in other Madrid universities(multiple choice test and every mistake takes points off)? Or how exactly is their testing?
