5 Steps to FIX PS5 That Won't Turn On (Fix Issues Now)

Do you want to know how to fix your PS5 that won't turn, black screen or no signal?
Here are five steps you can try to fix a PS5 that won't turn on:
Check the power connection: Ensure that the power cable is securely plugged into the back of the PS5 and the power outlet. Try using a different power cable or power outlet to rule out any potential issues with the power source.
Power cycle the console: Turn off the PS5 by pressing and holding the power button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it beeps and turns off completely. Then unplug the power cable from the console and wait for a few minutes. Afterward, plug the power cable back in and try turning on the PS5.
Reset the power supply: On the back of the PS5, locate the power supply unit and switch it off by toggling the switch to the "Off" position. Wait for at least 30 seconds, then switch it back on by toggling the switch to the "On" position. Attempt to power on the PS5 again.
Check for loose connections: Ensure that all cables and connections are properly seated. Check the HDMI cable, power cable, and any other connected cables. Disconnect and reconnect them securely to ensure a proper connection.
Use a game disc to attempt to turn on the ps5 or connect a usb cable and press the PS button to turn on the PS5.

For everyone saying it doesn’t work, I have some sobering news for you. Bite the bullet and send it in for repair stop spending hours searching on RUclips and grabbing at straws, like I did. Just take the two weeks and send it in, especially if you have a warranty, when you see your PS5 light up again it will all be worth it.

My PS5 does not turn on at all. No lights, no noises, no nothing. I've tried every trick in the book, like changing cords, forcing it on with controller, holding down all the buttons, etc. Nothing works. I am assuming that the power supply is just broken, but I've only had this console for 2 years now and no other console i've had in the past has had an issue this quickly. I was playing Street Fighter 6 last night and suddenly the console shut itself off out of the blue and I can't turn it back on. I tried replacing the power cords but it didn't work. I had the console vertically the whole time ever since I got it.
Edit: I think the insides are somewhat clean. Why won't it turn back on? BTW there is no light on my console.

So none of these worked for me either on 1st attempt. But after constantly pressing the power and eject button repeatedly for about 5 minutes the blue light flashed once and beeped but nothing else happened. Then pressed the ps button on controller and has been coming on like normal ever since!? Hope this helps someone 🙏 and many thanks for the video

What worked for me was finally I unplugget my t.v. from the wall and plugged it back in. Sounds suple and I tried all the steps here with no results but it was the t.v. not the playstation. Appreciate the help though

What worked for me was to simply disconnect all the cables for at least a minute and then put the power supply cable (which goes in the ps5) upside down to how it was originally for you (180 degrees)
