5 Steps to FIX PS5 That Won't Turn On (Fix Issues Now)

Do you want to know how to fix your PS5 that won't turn, black screen or no signal?
Here are five steps you can try to fix a PS5 that won't turn on:
Check the power connection: Ensure that the power cable is securely plugged into the back of the PS5 and the power outlet. Try using a different power cable or power outlet to rule out any potential issues with the power source.
Power cycle the console: Turn off the PS5 by pressing and holding the power button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it beeps and turns off completely. Then unplug the power cable from the console and wait for a few minutes. Afterward, plug the power cable back in and try turning on the PS5.
Reset the power supply: On the back of the PS5, locate the power supply unit and switch it off by toggling the switch to the "Off" position. Wait for at least 30 seconds, then switch it back on by toggling the switch to the "On" position. Attempt to power on the PS5 again.
Check for loose connections: Ensure that all cables and connections are properly seated. Check the HDMI cable, power cable, and any other connected cables. Disconnect and reconnect them securely to ensure a proper connection.
Use a game disc to attempt to turn on the ps5 or connect a usb cable and press the PS button to turn on the PS5.

I am assuming that the power supply is just broken, but I've only had this console for 2 years now and no other console i've had in the past has had an issue this quickly. First one worked for me, I know a big issue with these consoles is overheating so hopefully that’s all but I never had these problems with my xbox one or ps4 kind of disappointed this is the second time I’ve had this problem

I was playing Street Fighter 6 last night and suddenly the console shut itself off out of the blue and I can't turn it back on. I tried replacing the power cords but it didn't work. I had the console vertically the whole time ever since I got it.
Edit: I think the insides are somewhat clean. Why won't it turn back on? BTW there is no light on my console.

For everyone saying it doesn’t work, I have some sobering news for you. Bite the bullet and send it in for repair stop spending hours searching on RUclips and grabbing at straws, like I did. Just take the two weeks and send it in, especially if you have a warranty, when you see your PS5 light up again it will all be worth it.

What worked for me was to simply disconnect all the cables for at least a minute and then put the power supply cable (which goes in the ps5) upside down to how it was originally for you (180 degrees)
