    I've only recently discovered Dr. Pruss but so far I'm very impressed with his work. He also has a terrific blog that he updates very frequently. alexanderpruss.blogspot.com/
    His points about causal finitism are well taken: even if there is an infinite chain, there must still be a hierarchical first cause for the chain itself. Similarly, a paint brush has no inherent power to move, even if it had an infinitely long handle.
    It would be nice to have video as I suspect he is pointing to diagrams on a board or in a slide show, and it would make it easier to follow along.

    Part 1. No God? Humanism, Atheism, Evolution. Whatever sect we identify with by way of persuasion will inevitably render man to be his own god or sovereign if a Creator is disproven or eliminated. Whatever your assertion may render, I maintain that it is not possible for there to be no god as that would be an improbable, non-feasible assertion. Now we may disagree on who or what god is but for there to be no god seems to be an improbability.

      I find that it's a requirement to wear headphones, maybe I'm just going deaf or something but was also quite hard to hear.

    Part 2. Inevitably, you will either believe in a creator God, or something that has evolved into, or somehow became a deity, or a humanist who recognizes/places man as god but we cannot correctly assert that there is no god. A god of some sort will always be rendered through and by the law’s of principle even if we refuse to acknowledge or call whatever the Sovereign may be in our life “god.” Therefore, the argument is not rather or not there is a god or a sovereign but rather, who and what is god? ☛ ruclips.net/video/7AyvkvhMWRg/видео.html. Man will inevitably set up something as Monarch in their heart. Thus, once you have established who and what the sovereign (god) is in your heart, then it is just a matter of weighing out and experiencing the consequences of trusting in your sovereign of choice. Perhaps it’s the god of intellect or intelligence.

    Just ad hoc arguments to justify an existing belief. Nobody knows anything about the creation of the universe.

      @Melancholy SoldierIs it ok to make assertions such as 'there must be a first cause' when we know absolutely nothing about what happens beyond the big bang?
      Occam's razor tells us that we should prefer the simpler explanation, right? How is a omniscient, all powerful beeing, not bound by time but somehow capable of making decision the simple explanation?

    • @fr3d42
      @fr3d42 3 года назад

      @Melancholy Soldier How can one confidently talk about what's beyond our universe? How would we know if our definition of paradoxes even make sense in that context?
      Are there any scientific model of a universe existing without a first cause?
      God is not perception, it is a delusion. All of this is trying to justify that delusion by trying to rationalize it all, where in reality the people most qualified to answer the question about the creation of the universe do not have a consensus and simply don't know.
      You can make valid and logical arguments, doesn't mean it's based in reality.

      @@ahmedesam5024 It's difficult to understand your comment, english isn't my mother tongue and I would appreciate it if you could make a effort to write correctly.
      I am not smart, in fact I am ignorant of most things and stupid in regards to many.
      I am saying that given what we currently know (and more importantly don't know) about the origin of the universe, let alone the cosmos, it is irrational to conclude that a conscious beeing simply made it all.
      Every concept is imaginary until proven otherwise, yet theist persist in their delusion.
