I know it's much easier to drive AWD cars, because you make less mistakes. But driving a powerful RWD is so much fun imo

I don't use Traction Control often, but sometimes high power RWD cars won't hook up no matter how carefully I tune them. Using a RWD with traction control is still more fun than AWD most of the time on dry asphalt.
Especially the Jaguar Xjr-15 Barn find, its so much fun to drive at s900 and 430 Kmh topspeed on nalak28's tune
@@clockhanded I also had issues turning it off at first. But if you practice a lot, you can control pretty much every car while TC is off

RWD is much better than in FH4, and is a good choice for many cars, but unfortunately there's still a few AWD cars that break the PI system and leave you using equally busted RWD powerbuilds to beat them. But at least RWD won :D Nice runs!
The only main difference for RWD in 4 compared to 5 is that the rear wing now costs a lot less PI than it did in H4 on RWD cars. Sometimes even lowers the PI like on most AWD cars.

nah rwd is way too overpowered mate... all leaderboards are only RWD power builds... and that sucks... awd and rwd should be equal in performance!! i hate that meta so much
AWD is kind of hard to balance. Most AWD cars are much easier to drive but this isn't reflected in the PI, so AWD cars with the same PI will have slightly less potential but be 100x more consistent. If AWD would increase PI dramatically, nobody would use it. There should be seperate classes for AWD and RWD (at least in rivals).
I feel like with that Ford GT you can be a bit more relaxed and you'll be able to be more consistent about lap times, RWD NSX-R GT seems like it will loose a lot of time as soon as you do a mistake
online races alone you will be much more likely to get caught up in traffic or rammed by other players from the crappy launch at the start as well. tbh like how the rwd has better potential but much more involving to drive.
@@jjwrx8 I really like rwd, I play with a CLK-GTR FE RWD in S2, it's not very very fast and they get a head start but... I have fun. I feel like I need to be more careful with the car and I can still be KINDA fast. I say kinda because I'm not really fast :)

i just dont think the tune on that ford gt was very good he can push that car way harder

@@7L_CD tbh in fh2 you had to sacrifice alot of hp just to keep it in s1. In fh3 it fits perfect in s1. 875 hp with 7.6 handling. Not many s1 cars are like that in fh3
Nah, I think that the 'Rari FXX is more OP than the 05 GT
The conclusion is pretty much that if you're doing a rivals event, go RWD and you can get more out of the car in the majority of road and street events. But if you're going online and are about to get pushed and shoved off your line and possible into the grass during corners, RWD takes much longer to recover and also has a much worse launch the higher in car class you go.

Yea nice video.. but the Honda is so hard to drive compared to the Ford. Even tho I must say it improved my overall driving the nsx.. both are nice the Koenigsegg is imo better😜

How are you starting so clean? Even when shifting straight into 3rd I still get way more Wheelspin

Yeah apparently you have to use manual with clutch for it to launch straight and fast like a awd car.
I understand in Forza Motorsport RWD is fine, but in Forza Horizon, they got to do something about how much advantage AWD has for so few points. On asphalt and alone it's fair, but when other players push you offroad or there are unexpected offroad sections, it's way too advantegous to have AWD.

awd shoild cost like 30 pi points some cars it even cost only 3 or 1 pi.
@@Peaceiscoming669 Lol. 7 Ghosted AWD cars are going to launch faster than you block you for the entire race and never let you reach top speed. They'll even go offroad to block you and lose minimal traction.
@@clockhanded Ghosting system also lets you just go through them when there's a straight.
I tried the seasonal S1 Retro Supercar championship with a few RWD builds build since it’s wet it’s damn near impossible haha.
Rwd should be a skill->reward thing and honestly they did it way better than in fh4

yeah and that just shows that awd cars need way more power... they need to do a buff for awd... between rwd and awd should be only like 0,2 seconds difference...
that track is better for the nsx the ford gt was next to the car until the straight at the end if there wasnt a straight like that the nsx would lose.AWD always wins

Is the NSX-R GT better than the XJR-15? In my testing the Jag has always felt stronger but that's mostly subjective feel. I haven't really bothered to do any scientific comparisons.
