Rakshasa's armor is just bad defensively for it's weight class, it has the resistances of light armor yet weighs almost as much as the Banished Knight set

@@Count.Saruman I know that rakshasa has been knocked down quite a bit, but I swear she still took most of the first aeonia and a bit from a second one, and I'm pretty sure if it happened to any other npc he/she would have been infected
First off great video man. Secondly. To appease these Melania stans go ahead and buff everything with fragments. But any boss fighting Melania with equal scaling should also get infinite poise like she does. Otherwise she gets free health and damage that isn't available to her opponents. It isn't balanced even a little bit. Not when she has the hp and damage of higher tier bosses. You could even make her unable to be knocked over like all the rest of the bosses are. But allowing her to get buffed like that, should allow any boss going up against her the same unbreakable poise. That way all these Melania hounds can get the "fair" fight they want. As if her having heal on hit, infinite poise, hyperarmor attacks, evasion and rot weren't just absolutely busted on their own. 😂 Her infinite poise is just absolutely game breaking on its own without all her other busted stuff.

To see who's stronger. Fights should NEVER be equally scaled. For example, the Malenia fight. After Rakshasa did away with Godfrey like that, I was legit wondering if her higher scaling would manage to beat Malenia's bullshit, the infinite stance, the Rot, the animation cancels, the lifesteal, etc. It made the fight interesting to watch. But if Malenia is equally scaled, she beats EVERYTHING by default, from any Soulsborne game. Because those mechanics are too busted. They can't beat her healing or her percentage DOT. So not scaling equally is the way to go.
Its still fun to see how old bosses battle the newer dlc bosses and see if some of The old bosses could still win, making them equally scaled is boring
I have never seen, in all the videos I watch of Elden Ring bosses, where Malenia actually just gets diffed through sheer willpower and battle prowess alone. Rakshasa does not fuck around! But when I faced them it felt like one of the easiest fights in the DLC. Only took me a few tries. Edit: If you look at the Fire Giant fight, Rakshasa made some really weird player like movement. Now I don't think a player would have this much HP, but then again I don't have a clue how that shit works. But that fight and Malenia's fight leads me to beleive that a player named their character Rakshasa, and therefore staged this, but why only lose to Elden Beast? Or is it to make it seem like it's an NPC or something? Idk what are your guys' thoughts.
What would be the point in that? Most of the smaller bosses in the DLC can beat the base game bosses because of the fragment system in their favour. Not to mention Rakshasa has one of the best armour and weapons of the DLC. So why even bother modifying the stats to have her win?
I think it’s because people think it’s unfair to have a dlc boss fight original bosses without scadutree blessings. Since it’s a dlc boss, they will be stronger than the original bosses.
@@Noggle03 I mean to be real there's no reason for that. Bare minimum not for Melania. She's absolutely busted for this stuff. Having functionally infinite poise makes her more deadly than any other boss period. That mechanic alone has won her so many fights its ludicrous. Her being able to take full advantage of others stance breaks and not be susceptible to it herself is usually a huge deciding factor as to whether she wins or not. I say if they want her scaled with fragments then she should lose infinite poise, that or everybody else should get it too.
