no it was more or less the same. Just different in that he's got a point that they still benefitted from the money that Gozubra made from war. And yeah S4 has a LOT OF PLOT holes.
"When Alister was a child, the country he lived in was torn apart by war. In the dub, KaibaCorp bought the land from the city. When the residents refused to leave, Gozaburo Kaiba decided to force them out. Many were forced to dig tunnels and steal food to survive. Alister and his brother managed to survive. In the original, there was a war going on between two countries and Gozaburo Kaiba supplied the weapons to both sides. In the English dub, Alister's mother (seen only briefly during the 150th episode inside his locket) and his brother, Mikey, were eventually captured. In the Japanese version, his brother was killed when the tank he was in blew up. Alister has hated Seto Kaiba ever since and has designated him as his target."
According to the wiki, that's his reason in both dubs so yea pretty dumb like LK pointed out.

@Jordan Lyons To me it was so incredibly dumb. So many dumb decisions were made by the characters. Bring a dinosaur veteran that never seen dinosaurs (the park had vets why not bring them), a guy who is scared of everything (the park had tech guys that were not cowards so bring them instead), dinosaurs that will stop to kill when lava is around them showing that they are monsters (we are suppose to want to save them), bad guy bringing dinosaurs without anyone noticing, bad guy building a secret lab without the owner of the mansion knowing, embracing the stupid weaponized dinosaurs idea from the first movie (no military would be interested), having laser pointer attached to a gun to get the hybrid dino to attack is stupid because it is more effective to just shoot the target, ultimate killer dino is bad at smelling, clone girl releasing dinosaurs that will kill people because “they are alive like me” (she has more in common with the people she killed than the dinosaurs). I could go on but it was one of the dumbest movies I seen in a while.

I like how Mokuba is becoming more self aware as the series progresses. It’s like he’s getting older.
Ohmygod it's here. It's HERE!!! The episode... THE EPISODE! The one I've been waiting for since I first discovered this series back in... 2010. The 46th episode, Melvin'd, had just come out. I discovered the show with my younger step-brother, and we laughed ourselves sick as we watched episode after episode. And I, who had seen the show during its original run, said to him, who had not, "I can't wait until he gets to Season 4, where a biker gang run by a 10,000-year-old Atlantean king steals people's souls by beating them at card games, and Kaiba duels one of them on top of a flying plane, which almost crashes but then is rescued by three actual dragons." He, understandably, thought I was stringing words together at random, so I showed him the episode Flight of Fear, and we resigned ourselves to waiting for it, in all its glory.
And oh, what a wait it was. There were times when I didn't think we'd make it. Cancellation seemed inevitable at numerous points. Years went by with one or two episodes trickling out between them. And here we are, almost eight years later. It's unbelievable. Almost overwhelming.
Thank you, Martin, for making these. And for continuing to make them, in the face of every obstacle life threw in your path. Truly, you are doing the Pharaoh's work. I hope you go strong until the end of the series. I'll be watching until then.
There are good and bad things worth waiting for. Season 4 of Yu Gi Oh being directed well is one of the good ones. It's been a long and strange journey, but we can say we've been there. We've seen the Atlantean biker gangs. We've seen Mai, Weevil, and Rex deal with the existential questions of their characterizations. We've seen Kaiba saved by actual dragons after making his dragon more dragony by fusing it with a dragon while wearing dragon wings then shooting down Metal Gear Aeros after it blew up his dragon robot tank. We've seen Tea's bare feet. At this point, it's already a masterpiece.
It's been a pleasure, comrades.

I Don't see a difference to the millennium Items I mean the puzzle alone can:Host an entire separate soul and said soul can take over the body of the puzzles wearer and make him sound like Dan green, mind crush people, force souls into trading cards (see the first bakura duel), makes you immune to flame throwers and lets the wearer change destiny (and yes that's why yugi always draws the right card at the right time).
Don't forget time travel. Cause clearly the Millennium Puzzle is what allowed Atem to return to his ancient past from unlocking his memories, but this ultimately invoked the final Shadow RPG, and thus caused the new memories to take place over the old, so what happens in the game becomes the new history.

I just realized that the snake they stumble accross on the train tracks is named "Cornelius Junior" and Dartz Boss monster snake is called Cornelius the Snake level 9, so that snake is actively that trading card spirit's child AND affiliated with the Orecalcos. Also Cornelius the Snake level 9 is a supportive dad that encourages his son to follow his Basketball career dream
Cornelius Jr. Is actually the son of Marik's father's pet cobra that Odion killed because it bit Marik. Marik's father even mentioned that Cornelius (the cobra) loved basketball.
