the plane is excellent, the motor not so much, I took the advice of others and swapped to fms 3150kv (same motor that is in the F-15) and its like a new plane! the verticals are almost unlimited, the performance is just so much better still using 4s 2200mah
i find Freewing Jets that are Non High Performance Severely Under Powered so they can sell you the upgraded motor, Edf Fan and Esc and take more of your Money...Motion Rc can Suck it for doing this practice....Just Put a Good Power System in your jets to begin with ya greedy bastards
I've known several owners of the 64mm F-22 that cut additional "cheater vents" in the top of the plane, to allow the EDF to pull more air through easier.
Flying under powered edfs is a somehow boring but nervous experience. I think the freewing 9 blade 80mm is good but all the other freewing units are lacklustre, what was the deal with the FW metal 90mm outrunner units ?? No hope
Absolutely true, but that high pitched squeal that comes with less blades...😵💫 I think most people will buy the one that sounds cool over the faster one that screeches. Maybe a 4S, 70mm, 12 bladed fan in a model this size would have yielded the optimum combination. 🤷♂️
Got 1....i think its underpowered....unfortunaltely my controller and receiver don't work as it could be....decided to go on futaba systems we'll see....
@@Mrkrzy i decided to put the f15 fms motor inside...got less blades...same esc and power....toi see if there s a différence..i even thinking about a 70 mm motor instead....but idk if it would go inside....

Man your model is super slow compared to mine!! Also i usually take mt landing gear off and hand launch/Belly land looks alot better in the air and also incredibly easy to land without gear aint bouncing all over lol also gain a few mph. Check out there new 64mm F22 4s only now new power system gonna be alot better also toned down the fake looing camo looks much better nose more pointy will help with alot less drag as well. Thanks for the video
I've Actually Jacked it up with the Eflite F-15 Power System (Motor, ESC) just haven't maiden it let due to winter, and if you look closer at mine in the video I actually toned down the bogus camo with an airbrush and some grey paint. stay tuned I'll have her up again in a month or two ;-)

So Just a Motor swap? No ESC or EDF changes?
@@Mrkrzy yes just the motor did not need to change esc
Got the Motor but it turned out I needed the EDF as well, I 've swapped it out now and will be hopefully Re-maiden it this weekend . Stay tuned!
@@Mrkrzy may have been misunderstanding. when I swapped out it was the whole EDF unit, not just the motor, kept the same esc thought

interesting, I'd love to see a pic or vid

Technically the five blade EDF motors are faster than the 12 blade. Even though the 12 blades produce more thrust.

For my gyro, is this plane considered a delta wing or a regular fixed wing?
Fixed, Delta would use/mix the ailerons with Elevator

I replaced the EDF and Motor with the Eflite F-15 64mm setup, just hoping to catch a weekend where I can remaiden it...

@@Mrkrzy oh ok yea I had 2 eflite f15s man that's a fun jet and fast for a 64mm to
@@Mrkrzy I got a good vidoe for you of my last F15 64mm lol you'd like it
Definitely underpowered, but seemed to fly well.
That's the pilot not the Plane, just kidding she flies well indeed...
@@Mrkrzy and to be honest the flight looks more scale than the average EDF model jet
Well Thank you
Why do you say it's underpowered?
@@velcro62 Mainly, because it is relatively slow for a jet
