Fixed, Delta would use/mix the ailerons with Elevator

Mine teetered a little you can see it on the landing. I've only flew it the once still have to dial the Gyro in on The AR630, probably easier to get a basic Spektrum 6 CH receiver and go with the a preprogrammed FMS Reflex gyro

I've Actually Jacked it up with the Eflite F-15 Power System (Motor, ESC) just haven't maiden it let due to winter, and if you look closer at mine in the video I actually toned down the bogus camo with an airbrush and some grey paint. stay tuned I'll have her up again in a month or two ;-)

I replaced the EDF and Motor with the Eflite F-15 64mm setup, just hoping to catch a weekend where I can remaiden it...

@@Mrkrzy i decided to put the f15 fms motor inside...got less blades...same esc and power....toi see if there s a différence..i even thinking about a 70 mm motor instead....but idk if it would go inside....

So Just a Motor swap? No ESC or EDF changes?

Got the Motor but it turned out I needed the EDF as well, I 've swapped it out now and will be hopefully Re-maiden it this weekend . Stay tuned!

@@Mrkrzy may have been misunderstanding. when I swapped out it was the whole EDF unit, not just the motor, kept the same esc thought

i find Freewing Jets that are Non High Performance Severely Under Powered so they can sell you the upgraded motor, Edf Fan and Esc and take more of your Money...Motion Rc can Suck it for doing this practice....Just Put a Good Power System in your jets to begin with ya greedy bastards

Absolutely true, but that high pitched squeal that comes with less blades...😵‍💫 I think most people will buy the one that sounds cool over the faster one that screeches. Maybe a 4S, 70mm, 12 bladed fan in a model this size would have yielded the optimum combination. 🤷‍♂️

Is it a direct drop in? I see it comes with EDF, Motor & ESC.

And what Size 6S battery are you running?

Unfortunately I never used a Lemon Stab Plus and I do not program Safe into any of my HH Bird's Radio settings that come with safe, Sorry I couldn't help you further... The Spektrum Rx I had in this Bird Had Zero Stabilization just a plain 4ch Rx, But the Lemon Rx that I replaced it with did have Stabilization but it Didn't have any kind of "Safe mode" that would keep the plane level or have a panic Switch/button. In this Case the Lemon Rx Blew the Spektrum 4Ch out of the water. So I'd buy a Lemon Rx over the plain Spektrum Rx any day of the week.

If you're referring to the Lemon Receivers I use, I do not use the Plus Version I use the simple Lemon Rx DSMX Compatible 7-Channel w/Stabilizer so no flight modes, and I have a switch setup (A) to turn the gyro On and Off, and the DX8 has a knob that I can associate with the 7th channel. By turning the knob I can amplify or decrease the gyro settings that are already set on the Lemon Receiver's Dials. In the Channel input config of my Transmitter I have "Channel 5 Gear" set to my A switch (Gyro On/off) and "channel 7 Aux2" set to RKnb to control Gyro sensitivity using my transmitters Knob.

Or were you referring to the Spektrum AR630 Receiver AS3X which, funny enough, you can use the dial to adjust the Gyro sensitivity ...

No it is not, Super fast, the Viper is your best bet, but it sure does land better, settles in way better during landing.

Safe? what's Safe? No just joking, I do not fly in Safe it limits your banking and it self levels the plane which can set you up for some real bad flying habits and you may never feel comfortable flying normally... I don't even program Safe in when Binding to my transmitter it's just one more channel I don't want to have to use... P.s. it's never as small in person as it seems on video...never :-)

@@Mrkrzy well I have three 1.1 & 1.2 meter planes and sometimes it's hard to see the attitude of the plane in the air

@@aragorn318 I tend to keep them close, I've had one fly away on me already, I don't know I really don't have any problems with Plane Orientation if I do, It's going down... Helicopters were my original Gateway to flying RC.

I do have both, all my E-FLITE planes have as3x but I never used safe. E-FLITE planes are dialed in from the factory. I haven't programed an AS3X receiver yet though I have one in my Avanti 70mm which I haven't maiden t yet which I will have to dial it in myself. The lemon is easy for this model. Set all the dials to 12 O clock and set your transmitter to around 4 on the dial.

@@Mrkrzy When you say "set all the dials to 12 o'clock" are these adjustments for the dyro stabilization system you are referring to?

Yes, the knob on your Transmitter. should be at 4 O clock the dials on the Receiver should be at 12 O clock.

2s = two Cell battery, 3s battery is what I fly. Gyro built into receiver.

Give the tail surface 2 mm of up trim. The elevator should be 2 mm above level.

Yes all except the Landing which cost me a front nose cone and the Pin for the front landing Gear (which are virtually impossible to get without waiting a few months for backorders), Second flight was better...

We were talking about lemon Rx on your Avanti vid. I have now another fms Corsair 800 ready for a maiden. I switched the battery connector to the e5 going to use a 3s 1000. I'm going to try your stab setup on it. Thanks again for the details.

Yes, with 3S vs 2S though. It hand launches beautifully as well and flies (and looks) better without the Landing Gear.

Well Man, Thank you so Much for Watching. I got into the Hobby as A Heli Guy But I love the Looks of Scale Airplane Models (and let's face it, it's a lot less stressful and takes less effort to fly the planes), and Jet's/EDFs really turn me on, The Speed, the Sound, Love it Just wish there was a Decent AMA Field with a Real paved runway around my area because then I'd get me a Freewing F-14 Tom cat or a Grippen or or or. I had to Drop a Larger ESC into the Panther as well (40 AMP) because the motor would cut out on me due to overheating (doesn't like to be at full throttle the entire flight but...too bad!) Yes indeed it is....

What I meant by Dial set to zero is that on the Spektrum DX8 you connect the Gyro Gain to a Dial Knob on the Transmitter and you can regulate how much Gyro gain the receiver is using at anytime during flight. I turned on the Gyro but left the Dial at it's lowest level (gyro works very little but it's better then without) I ordered the end-pin but the top-pin might be the better choice if you plan on mounting the receiver all the way back
