He seems like a geniune dude, and I'm sure he is great with his clients, but what about his tattoos? They seem questionable. He's got the cool hair, the sharp clothes, and the gangster voice, but is that enough? I think todays clients get too wrapped up in image or reputation and overlook the finished product. Take a minute and think about who's tattooing you next and why...
What is questionable to me is how oblivious you are regarding the decades long contributions to the tattoo world he has made...as in internationally. I guess you don't like Jack Rudy or Brian Everett's work either. Natural style, talent and heart are not mutually exclusive. Even more shocking to me is that you close with advice on getting tattoos. How's your artwork doing? I wonder, are you even an artist? To be frank, you sound like a pretentious 1st year art school douche bag
Christian Hansen exactly, my local tattoo artist in Bangkok produces far far superior tattoos than Mark Mahoney. He seems a little like Ed Hardy.... Lots of reputation and marketing for an average amount of talent.
GUERO NOR CAL 19*12 Talent isn't even in the equation. Its all HARD WORK and long hours grinding. This mans work is very good. Just because his tattoos arent traditional big bold lines and bright fruity ass colors doesn't mean his work is garbage. That single needle black & grey realism stuff is very difficult to master, especially with a coil machine. If you don't think so, why don't you give it a try. Fine lines are hard to keep solid and unshakey, shading with a single needle is a whole different animal! Shits really tuff. Mark Mahoney is an amazing tattoo artist, his work is legendary. Anybody can do that traditional shit, and fuckin koi fish bs. Have some fuckin respect.
God he's so gorgeous! Such a beautiful man. And I love his voice :)

Clint in a fist full of dollars Steve mcqueen in bullet so cool but this guy is the real fukin deal 👌.
He has the most beautiful Drug-filled eyes i've ever done seen.

I think he's a famous tattooist. Did brad Pitts and lana del Rey s tatts, he was also in one of Lana's music video. Was very VERY cool.❤
