The dimension on a 3D model are shown on the plane that it is mostly closely aligned to. So if you view is more closely positioned to the front view, a dimension will be placed on that plane.
@@cadcentralnz Im sorry my question was very unclear. When dimensioning on a drawing id like for all dimensions to be horizontal instead of the numbers being sideways (vertical), without having to manually change all my dimensions to be horizontally legible. Is there a default setting to change that?
@@ZSchink You need to click on the View Tab and click Styles. Find the dimension style you use and click modify. In the Text options, change the orientation to horizontal. This should update all your dimensions in one go. To have this for future drawings, edit the template file and do it there too.
