  • Calpe is an attraction for many beachgoers all year round because the coast is beautiful and there is always something going on on the beach promenades. If you don't just want to swim, you can take advantage of sports activities such as windsurfing and jet skiing. The facilities are also child-friendly and suitable for visitors with limited mobility. If you want to get your adrenaline pumping, you can climb to the summit of the Peñón de Ifach. It's strenuous, but it's rewarded with a fantastic view of Calpe and the Levante coast. As you explore the old town on the hill, you'll find plenty of great photo opportunities, such as the Romanesque churches, colorful wall mosaics and cobblestone avenues. The former fishing village of Calpe on the Costa Blanca now offers countless beach cafés and Mediterranean fish restaurants. So that you can really enjoy your stay, we have put together a few tips for activities in Calpe. The Plaça de la Villa in Calp's old town consists of narrow cobbled streets full of colorful murals, potted plants and flowers, as well as ancient Roman ruins and a city wall. The historic square is also home to Calp's most important museums and churches, including the parish church of Virgen de las Nieves and the Museo del Coleccionismo. The Plaça de la Villa, with its magnificent wall mosaics and the murals in the surrounding alleys, is best discovered on foot. You can find many here right in the city center.
