I found a photo on Pixabay of sea cliffs yesterday to try out your dry brushing technique. So far so good and will attempt to finish it today. Also I pre-ordered your book when you first mentioned it. It’s supposed to arrive on July 2! Can’t wait!!!

I’ve been trying to learn dry brush for quite awhile. I notice after you dip the brush in the paint, the brush disappears from camera before you put it on the paper. Are you wiping some of the water off or does it go directly from the paint to the paper?

It depends. If the brush is too wet, wipe off excess moisture, too dry, dip the tips into water - try it out and discover for yourself what you need to do 😊

I my experience, the speed in which you make the dry brush stroke is also important. When you make it quick, then the pencil can be well loaded with colour.
