Brother i think you should do a review about 1.5 tsi 150 hp Monte Carlo one, just bought it 3 days ago and its just mind blowing, 1200 ish kilos with that power 8kg/hp.Interior to exterior this thing even beats 320i's 520i's not to mention the interior with things like nice ambience lights and racing seat stuffs.
Im looking to finally get driving at 30 (better late than never!) And have been heavily considering this as a first car. As the "sensible mate everyone rings for advice" of my friend group looks like its a good fit for me 😅
Go for it! There will be no regret. I have been driving Fabia for eight years now. Nothing, but pleasure. I also advised my son to buy Fabia, and he did. I am happy he listened to my advice. His car is the fourth generation (mine is the third). So, it is even better now - a good size for a family with two kids.
The diesel in Europe is a frugal fuel machine we’ve used 3.7literes per hundred kilometres for an earlier model I think that’s great and comparable to a good hybrid and cheaper than any ev
You can't buy a new diesel Fabia in the UK anymore. Skoda dropped diesel from the Fabia range here a couple of years ago. There is no estate option here now either.....
No doubt - it is the best mini right now. Only problem is the price/taxes. A 1.0 Tsi with 110hp and dsg cost MORE than a Tesla Model 3 in my country. Fossil cars are very soon history. ;)
Electric cars with batteries it is history. I hope the stupidity in EU win then a lot of people move out from this mental sick place. Only Hydrogen or LPG cars a the moment.
Ive had 3 fabias, an octavia, 8 felicias, 6 favorits and a load of rear engined skodas, from the time when, if it was modern britain, the reform voters would have laughed at you. Their big mistake. They were bever as bad as nade out, they were relaible and well equipped, and velieve it ir not, a 1970 Skoda 110R couoe had the fastest too sored of any other 1.1 car in the uk. 11mph faster than an escort! Back to the future now, and the fabias have always been a brilliant car. I actually wonder, if VW deliberately made them so good, or did the czechs do that all by themselves.
The front of the Fabia looks like a Whale Shark feeding 8-))... And with that longish options list, it looks like Skoda have caught up with the rest of the world by not doing what they used to do. Actually having them all fitted to the car. But Howard makes a _so, so_ car sound... _Interesting._ ;-))...
Easy to understand engines, So why get it so very wrong.?? a 150ps is a 1.5 TSI ACT 4 cylinder and not a 1.0 TSI 3 Cylinder. So not all 1 engine with a manual or DSG.
Having driven one, the interiors are horrid and cheap and the 1l engines feel gutless compared to ford's. Gearbox is pretty tight but can't really tell when you're in 5th and gear changes are very jolty even for a 3 cyl. Decent infotainment and steering/handling are solid though and storage is good. For the price though, get something second hand that's better. You're only 3 grand less than a fiesta st at this point
Road noise is a problem with this fabia. Mine came new with "Goodyear efficient grip" tyres. These cause inacceptable road noise. I had these exchanged for the quietest available all season tyres, problem solved. Almost. The Goodyears are due for the bin. Nobody wants them.
@@leasingdotcom Based upon information available to me, I chose the Pirelli sp 2 all season tyres. Much quieter than the useless Goodyear "eco" tyres. It is unbelievable that Skoda fits these to their new cars, only to achieve fractionally better emissions. Green eco nonsense.
I mean if you have similar specs the SEAT is better being £3500 cheaper than the fabia on car wow at the time I posted this comment. And £4500 cheaper than the equivalent polo

Skodas are honestly the best cars in their segments

Yes, Skoda Fabia is the best car. Just recently bought my 5th Scoda Fabia and first automatic. I love my Fabia!😊

I've had 2 Fabias, a Mk 1 and a Mk 2. Great little cars. Solidly built and reliable.

Entertaining review 😊

Is it fuel efficient?
Like it and like the jumper take!!
Apple car play connects via cable, not wireless, its mirror play that does it via wireless
POP QUIZ: Skoda Fabia VS VW POLO... money is no object which would you choose and why?
Renault clio
I've had M1 Fabia vRS. I would have any Skoda over VW. As much as I love VW
Seat Ibiza, good handling, good style and my first car was an Ibiza
@@zog97xy lol
@@arnoldtabor3767 We should look at that.
I love Škodas too❤
Do you recommend this over Hyundai i20?
Howard said he would. Just opinion.
Does it really have wireless apple carplay? ( On the 8 inch screen)
best car i ever had

I get over 50mpg on a 70 mile run with my auto Kamiq 1.0
noooo way..!!!
Great vehicle
It feels like a small car. I'm average height (5' 11") and the driver's seat doesn't go back far enough for me.
Nonsense. I'm 6'2 and it's just about fine for me and I have long legs. You must have 1.5m legs 😅

Cool
It consumes to much. Nice car.
Switched off when i heard no arm rest
Competent but so dull. That's Skoda.
But of course some people are more than happy to settle for practical, well built and reliable......
Post prodaction very beeeeddd! Stroboscop fa...g
What’s that now?
