This was not a paid sponsorship, just an honest review of the product. I'm not worried about them getting knocked over, had them in the past and the animals never messed with them. I put them low on purpose because I had better results in the past by doing so. Yes I know you can buy other fly traps for cheaper. I think that should answer all the questions people will ask. Haha

Those work great. For some reason a video popped up on my feed after I watched this video, for a rodent trap that can trap many rodents at a time, you set it in once and the rodents Do the rest. Lol, it was oddly captivating watching mice and small rats get themselves trapped.
I'm not posting the name here because this isn't my video, I think any farm or homestead would benefit from having a couple of them around.

Funny you title it "how many can you catch in less than 24hrs". If you watch the manufacturer video it says the fly attractant they provide takes 24 hours to even activate. It shows using very little warm or hot water and making a paste. Too bad we have to search yt to find these things out. Thanks for your video. I would've really loved to known if those traps you thought weren't working. If they improved after 24 hours? Thanks for the tips though. Within a yard of the ground and in shade in summer and sun spring and fall are the others I got from a manufacturer. Thanks ✌️

These traps attract flies. So technically they bring more flies. I found that if you hang them about 20 feet away from where the flies are a problem....... It draws them away from where the blasted flies are driving you nuts. lol

Have a idea for you to try if you want. Next time you're out cooking with the smoker and the flies are wanting what you're cooking, fill a quart jug half full of water and hang it up. Or if you have a gallon ziploc bag, half fill it and hang it in the area. There's something about either one of these 2 that keeps flys away. Haven't been able to figure out what or why, but it works for us. It seems that the minute you think about cooking outside bam they're there. Anyway great video and thank you for sharing. Rusty

The manufacturer said it takes 24hrs for that powder to activate in warm water. She mixed it with very little hot water into a paste on the ranch fly trap page. I came here after going there first to put it together. I just ordered a set for around the house in South GA where there's sandy soil we get them bad every summer. I never had them in the red clay areas further West. So I'm a newbie and appreciate your tips. The others I got from a couple of disposable traps I tried were much like yours of 1 meter, or 3 ft off the ground. And in the sun in spring and fall. But the shade for the heat of summer. Thanks for the tips that work for you.

We uses to get jars and put raw meat in the bottle and then put water in to almost cover the meat...put the lid on the hammer holes in the lid dig holes to ace the jar in leaving the lid exposed and fill in the dirt around the jar...end of summer the jars would be full and we didn't have many flies

JARED!! You have made this a better world by preventing those flies from multiplying!! I hate flies. We only had garter snakes, but I can vouch for the product called Snake-B-Gone! It really does work. We would start with a ring around our house. Then every few days put a line of it down a few feet away from the house- until we drove them into the garden area ( which we did not use). Start by going around your barn & house.
