This was not a paid sponsorship, just an honest review of the product. I'm not worried about them getting knocked over, had them in the past and the animals never messed with them. I put them low on purpose because I had better results in the past by doing so. Yes I know you can buy other fly traps for cheaper. I think that should answer all the questions people will ask. Haha
Those work great. For some reason a video popped up on my feed after I watched this video, for a rodent trap that can trap many rodents at a time, you set it in once and the rodents Do the rest. Lol, it was oddly captivating watching mice and small rats get themselves trapped. I'm not posting the name here because this isn't my video, I think any farm or homestead would benefit from having a couple of them around.
Funny you title it "how many can you catch in less than 24hrs". If you watch the manufacturer video it says the fly attractant they provide takes 24 hours to even activate. It shows using very little warm or hot water and making a paste. Too bad we have to search yt to find these things out. Thanks for your video. I would've really loved to known if those traps you thought weren't working. If they improved after 24 hours? Thanks for the tips though. Within a yard of the ground and in shade in summer and sun spring and fall are the others I got from a manufacturer. Thanks ✌️
These traps attract flies. So technically they bring more flies. I found that if you hang them about 20 feet away from where the flies are a problem....... It draws them away from where the blasted flies are driving you nuts. lol
Have a idea for you to try if you want. Next time you're out cooking with the smoker and the flies are wanting what you're cooking, fill a quart jug half full of water and hang it up. Or if you have a gallon ziploc bag, half fill it and hang it in the area. There's something about either one of these 2 that keeps flys away. Haven't been able to figure out what or why, but it works for us. It seems that the minute you think about cooking outside bam they're there. Anyway great video and thank you for sharing. Rusty
i am watching your video and seen you with these fly traps i have alot of flys outside and am welling to try anything to get rid of them so i am saying Thank You and am Gonna Continue watching your videos
As as a side note. I shared your posting of Baxter and his new toy with my dauter-in-law who has a big ggetman shepherd. She immediately ordered it and my son took it to the dog park and all the dogs went crazy for it and it is so tough it survived!!. TY for that. HUGE success!!!
Great "unpaid" review! The bugs are bad this year. I have used a different trap, but may need to try some of these on the side of the house where the garbage can lives. Have a great day Jared.
I used a different fly bait one, but it holds 40.000 flys and last year I collected so many flys that no room with a view available. They were 40,000 more wanting in.
Good morning Jared .yes we have a time here too in Jamaica where the flies want to come into our mouth🙄can you imagine .We have to buy this thing name fly catcher and hang it up, once they fly and touch it thats the end of them..they are truly disgusting bro👍
If I’m not mistaken, it looks as if the bowl on the first trap is angled farther down giving the flies an easier way in. I realize it most probably is the camera angle.
Title of your next video...."Goats ate my fly trap" 🤣🤣.... Actually those fly traps are really effective, there's nothing worse than nasty flies everywhere !! 🤪
Right!? This was a big plus for using those neck gators this past summer because of the "c" word, no flies or gnats bugging (no pun intended, or was there? Lol) you, especially when fishing or working outside .
They*Flies can serve a great purpose for Medical needs tho!! Anytime you have severe burns or excess dead flesh, let them lay their eggs to hatch on the area!! Maggots will only clean up the DEAD flesh so the New can HEAL faster!! I've actually seen it happen.
We uses to get jars and put raw meat in the bottle and then put water in to almost cover the meat...put the lid on the hammer holes in the lid dig holes to ace the jar in leaving the lid exposed and fill in the dirt around the jar...end of summer the jars would be full and we didn't have many flies
I tried a couple form walmart form walmart that is just a plastic bag with bait you add water to. After a coiple of days the bag had thousands of flies.
Good job on the fly catchers Jared...I've seen the strips you hang up and those work good but are messy, haven't seen this method but seems to work, the cats would have liked the tuna and the beer was used for a good cause😁 overall it was a success..👍❤️
Yeah, didn't JASON put out some of those net ones in your barn before and they really did work well. I'm wondering if you should've kept some of that powder stuff to rebait them!
@@South_Texas_Roots I wasn't yelling at anyone! I just thought if I put all capital letters in a word or two you'd actually read my comment, is all. 😉💕LOL
Jared, I got some of the small ones, they say they last a month, they are only 5$ and change. I can't believe how many flys are in them in only a week. Don't know why flys are so bad this year. God bless you.
I have read on my chicken boards that the vanilla air fresheners work to deter flies. That's what I use in my truck. It does seem to work there. Don't have fly problem in my chicken houses. I say that and will probably be over run now. Lol
Try to hang the under your tree to draw them away from your barn or at the end of your porch to keep them away from your door, don't near your door you want them away from the door
JARED!! You have made this a better world by preventing those flies from multiplying!! I hate flies. We only had garter snakes, but I can vouch for the product called Snake-B-Gone! It really does work. We would start with a ring around our house. Then every few days put a line of it down a few feet away from the house- until we drove them into the garden area ( which we did not use). Start by going around your barn & house.
I got a fresh 30-pack and I decided to play a little game watching your video, every time you said "all right guys" I had a drink. I had to send the wife out for a fresh 30-pack.
Maybe same setup with Sugar Water would be better. Still, with Shortage of Bees to Pollinate OUR food sources already, you might want to rethink destroying anymore!!??

I put my fly traps over my fence

I think it has something to do with reflection. I've heard*seen people put plastic milk jugs filled with water around their yard to ward off dogs++.
Great job!!! We need to do that too
Where can I get some l need one on my deck. It won't hurt the animals? Are they trapped and can't get out
That's a mixture of stuff!! You'll get them darn flies!! Have a peaceful day.
Good morning Jared, hope you and Matt are having a great day!

Hello Jared, I am impressed with the fly traps. Need to get some for our new property we move to next month.
That fly trap information is great to know. Thank you so much.

I can only imagine that smell 😷 Dang, it does work well. Maybe it’ll attract other unwanted insects as well.
Great video Jared!
Ordered trap, but there has been no contact, sent email, called (always busy). did they go out of business?
Discussing but needful.
Have a great day. Thanks for sharing.

Working good!! Have a great day from Minnesota.
Hi All! I scanned thru comments. Mayb silly to ask but what do I do with…or how do we kill/destroy the live flies when ready to reset the trap?
how do you empty it?

do they work on mosquitos?
We need two as well front porch and back yard around the smoker ! Looks like it's a good deal !!
My first and most important question is... Can you smell the stinky concoction? Like if you are sitting on the porch? Great video today...
I need some of those for the horse barn
How do the ones in the net die
This stuff better work!!! (Jarrod Crocker don't waste beer fer nothing)!!!!!😂🤣😂🤣😂
Does the powder kill them?
Hello Jared. Sending you love from Nigeria❤️
Good morning Jared.Another thing that works is hanging bags of water .when they see there reflection ,it must scare them to death ,it works .
I’ve heard if you put a shinny penny in it , it helps too.
I've never heard of that ,right on .
Great video. Thanks a bunch, I am definately getting some traps today.
The highest one works best raise other one in barn to same height 😆 ENJOYed
Jared where can you buy the fly ranch trap?
@JaredCrocker, where did you get? Do you have a link...trying to support ya! ❤️ Kristy in Missouri 😃🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Last year mine worked great, I just ordered some for this years attack.
Good fly catcher got to get some

Those traps really does the job! 🇺🇸
The flies are terrible here too! Also great ideas I have a trap that I can use to catch them gonna try tuna juice!🤣🤣🤣🤣
I need some of those in my backyard. Did you order them or can you buy them from a farm store?
I'm not too sure. These were sent to my house a while back.
@@South_Texas_Roots ok thanks
I hope these don't stink up your barn that the animals won't go in there. Haa Has Had! Love the video's! Keep 'em coming.
Rescue Bait fly traps are the best attractant that I've tried so far.
Good job

I'm worried about the concoction attracting other animals like raccoons, deer, etc... will it attract more than flies?
I tried a couple form walmart form walmart that is just a plastic bag with bait you add water to. After a coiple of days the bag had thousands of flies.
Will the animals knock around the traps and spill bait?
We didn't have any issues last time we used them. Of course things can happen. I have more results from the trap the lower it was to the ground.

That's pretty cool.
Cool we need to get this forsure 👍🏻

Here in Ohio, the Amish put water and a few copper pennies in a plastic bag--hang it and believe it or not it deters flies.
