Note how the engines are coupled. Regardless of which direction the engines face, the cab crew has the short hood forward. No need to turn the engine consist to have a short hood forward.
What a great video of a huge combo locomotive 🚂.Great railroading action. Transporting and delivering the nation's products. Love els and the sd9 locomotives. Thanks Jason.
Not too bad with eight cars of siding. It is interesting about the gondolas in that for so long they had used CN and Shortline cars and always seemed to have and always seemed to provide an adequate supply.
Looks like a beautiful day in the Yoop!
Very cool
Incredible sights!!! I Love it!!!
Someone must not like running the old sd9, thanks for the videos I don’t know were else I could see a cool old sd9 working
The oldtimers complained about the lack of visibilty due to the high hood. The newtimers just like to run what they are used to.
@@MrEferrellAawwwwww-- the poor babies--- at least lts a USEABLE loco!!!!

They're gonna wear out those sand/cement hoppers pulling them in and out of storage.
its harvest season grain cars are needed! Frees up the sidings! Nice catch.
A lot of scrap metal with smart siding..
They had all the cars organized lp siding center beam cars, the hoppers and the gondolas
good train video
32 cars and 2 engines
Maybe they like 502 out front
Can you repost the video of the people and van that you had the encounter with, in Iron Mtn? I think they might be in Kenosha, WI now.
Wher dose all that siding go .Is it werehoused in Green Bay ?
Probably better visibility out of the SD-40. Keep it out front
Jason, do they have fracking sand up in the UP?
There is no fracking sand in the UP. Just track storage for the cars
What happened that pressed SD9 out of storage?
Can't keep usable power running, I guess.
Would like to see the F units, but their HP rating is lower than the current power and they're not bidirectional.
