How would a solid steel shelter not already be EMP proof? Is it a matter of replacing the door gaskets with faraday gaskets, putting mesh in the ventilation ducts, or what?
Polish workers are top notch with building those bunkers. Europe does it right with style points in their interior designs. I want to live for a year underground just to do it.
Ron, great video as always. Although I'd love to see some of your smaller bunkers/shelters for the middle-class that can't afford these luxury shelters.
Many of those machines you saw were CNC mills, many being many decades old but still chugging along. Its crazy seeing CNC mills open like that instead of closed off like now a days, where its pretty much all enclosed. Also pretty cool seeing all those manual mills and lathes there too.
I could never afford or have the space for these bunkers however I would prefer if the passageway past the bathroom is around to the side of the bunker instead of through the centre. That way it's an enclosed bathroom area to stop condensation and smell travelling throughout the bunker. Plus it would give the bathroom some privacy. Another way is to have the bathroom located at the end of the bunker just like the luxury RV buses.
Ron, I’m glad that you’re doing well after the cancer scare. My concerns are electricity and water. Do you really want a gas operated generator underground with you? You may want to find something else like batteries. Second, if you are stuck down there for several months you won’t have enough water to survive. I love your videos as I find them extremely informative.
Those generators are in a separate room, with separate air vent. Ron sells them with gas tight doors. There is not a better way to keep power production safe with you in the bunker. Also the biggest advantage of Atlas shelters is the 2ft of under storage. The shelters come with I think 2, 200gallon or 300 gallon tanks. But you can probably fit more if several months is your goal. Which not to criticize but a bunker does not need to be sealed for months on end, in any catastrophic event I could think of. For a nuclear war lets say. You would need to survive the initial blast, then for maximum safety you are looking at a week or two. But the radioactive fallout is decaying significantly over time. after 2 weeks or so it will be safe to go outside, with protective equipment so you avoid skin contact or inhaling it. You could start work on removing the ash/fallout and making your area safer. Collecting water that is irradiated and treating it to replenish your supplies. A bunker is a great tool, but its not going to save you. You have to know about the threats you face, how to deal with them, and then make a plan that fits you and your budget. Money will make things easier, but its knowledge that will keep you alive.
How much is the 10by40 and 10x20. Also how much is the Platium series Alsaka. Do you do custom jobs on the layouts and can you incorporate geo thermal energy a well and incinerator toilets? Plus what is the plan for disposal garage?
Honest question, likely covered prior, but what is the methodology for laundry in an Atlas? Assume that certain cloths are preferable (Merino) for anti-bacteria, but is this a wear in shower situation? Thanks.
Forgot a manual generator… assuming that no all understand of electricity and / or mechanics… you should have an option for a kind of home bike and accumulator with batteries . kind of dynamo where you do little sports and generate electricity
Absolutely love it. Atlas quality in Europe. Quick question...how are you doing since the cancer scare? As someone who has survived colon cancer twice, I know how bad it can get. Thank God I'm cancer free for over 5 years now. Just concerned for you brother 👍🏻 Tom
With water seepage in underground bunkers, the more plastic and less wood the better for less mold. I wish Ron would show his older bunkers so we can see IF and HOW they withstood water damage but alas, he does not. Anyway, ATLAS bunkers are among the best so keep up the great work Ron.
How do you keep constant water in bunkers? That’s always been my big questions about it. Like I understand short term water storage… but what about long term?
Solar, generator, some have a well. I would love one! I would make it a theater that could be used on a regular basis. Then if I ever need it would be part of a normal life.
Where does human waste go or anyone with a 6 month supply with can goods. How do you get rid of trash if there’s a fallout from a blast? That’s what I haven’t seen in any videos.
They definitely have a huge factory from this video and from previous videos so with the addition of your bunkers it makes sense to put in a big gun range! Ron do you ever go out pig shooting in Texas with all the feral pigs there?
That 10x50 is really nice! That takes so doing to get a G-Wagon stuck LOL Obviously the factory in Poland has a lot more on their plates than just building the shelters!
I'm asking before finishing the video. "We now can EMP proof atlas shelters " if it's not in video or in detail. Please make a video, detailed on that. Intrigued.
With all the wild weather that has gone on the last couple of years I can see the importance of having one of these. Not that bomb shelter isn't important but the swings in the climate might very well prove one of these a lot more necessary and God only knows how often.
Add a layer of AR500 plate to those interior sliding doors, a lock inside each one, and that added security may be what saves lives when/if the main door is breached by bad guys.
Do you put in or recommend some appliance of device to was clothes and maybe dry or hang dry. Is there any planned laundry idea and what do you do for trash? Is there a incirator for trash? Not trying to aggravate just wondering how a family can stay in a bunker without going outside for 1-6 months? Or even 1 month trash and smelly clothes. What does your bunker have for laundry and trash?
FYI, Ron: I'm not getting the notifications for your channel, even though I've made that setting. You might want to consider making those survival stoves and shovels here in the States. I think huge disasters are coming, and they may come in handy if affordable enough.
A little rocket stove/heater like those is super easy to make if you have access to a welder and the square tube stock. I really DID like those survival shovels though.
Aren’t the bunkers by definition already a faraday cage!? The are completely made of steel! It’s a giant steel box at least 1/4” thick plate steel. That’s more than thick enough to stop most EMP frequencies. Unless you mean EMP proof the electrical system installed in the bunker??
Great to see them closer to UK what is a rough price on Poland built unit just the main house and staires and escape tunnel iam not looking at generator room iam going solar and wind power and hydro
If you wanted, you could put a couple thin TV's on the wall and frame it out to look like a window. It wouldn't use much power, and they can look super realistic
One question I’ve been watching the new thing’s y’all come up with to add to these bunker but i alway wonder where do you put the trash go if you have to stay in the bunker long term just a question
What happens when something breaks in there after its been buried and its to large for the small hatch? Like you want a new bed and have to get the other one out for bed bugs or anything like that?
Y’all have the coolest stuff in your videos I’m gonna check out your small u g shelters for my off grid cabin on a mountain yours look the best and I care about my family so I may be in touch with you guys soon !!
is it possible to have something that will catch rainwater for the bunker? if need to stay in the bunker for at least 6 months need some way to have constant power and water. get an emp your power gets knocked out so my question is what options do i have
These shelters are very nice. The only thing I would add If I had the need/money/property for one of these would be windows.. Not real windows obviously, but a flat screen t.v. or some other tech that you can have the appearance of a window to the outside.
Checking out your videos and yet to see what setup is installed for trash, anyone storing goods in cans glass etc will do what with them if there is a fall out from nuclear blast? Also nothing shown for septic systems, where does human waste go?
Not that I could ever afford it, but can y'all make 36-38" wide doors on one?? The reason I ask is I'm in a wheelchair, so narrow doors are my kryptonite.
That bunker is just a little bit smaller than my apartment. Small but roomy. As for the sand over the escape hatch, won't that make it difficult to open if the sand gets muddy? I personally would prefer an escape hatch identical to the entryway, except for a few inches of sand over the door.
Way he explained it in another video was the door open into the hatch so the sand empties into all the way down. Even if it was wet, gravity will help, and you can dig it out and just let it fall. The hatch is physically impossible to open from the outside, even with sand not covering it. It’s more to hide the fact there is a hatch there. My thinking is you can store a short shovel at the top of the ladder and if it difficult to get through, you can just knock it away with the shovel until your out. But once you open the hatch everything should fall away. It’s strictly an escape, rescue hatch as once used you will have to do a bunch of cleaning. Unless you had to forethought to have a tarp at the bottom to collect everything when it falls. Then you just have to worry about taking it out little by little and mopping it up.
I may have missed it but where in Poland is this range going to be located? Any link? I am planning European trip and would love to not only get some full auto trigger time but also see the bunker.

ISO 9001, they make parts for Mercedes... and... your bunkers in Europe. And quite beautifully as well. Amazing for a bunker. Always room for “improvements” though. 🤓🤪 Really, it is very nice, mostly because of the head/lav. Needs four times the size fuel tank; the galley could be a little bit bigger; considering the number of births & size of the space, the dining/mess size is a bit small; there’s enough room for either doubling the seating or a larger couch; lastly (a bit impossible to “fix”... now), the head should be between the bunks and the master suite. I do really like it though. As I’ve said in past, I have some wickedly 🤯 designs. I’m just not able to build them for now, if ever.

Thanks for the tour of the Poilsh factory, as usually top notch quality
Canadian Prepper is in the House. Nate is getting one guys. This year 😊
@@AtlasSurvivalShelters How long will those diesel and water thanks last. Great content btw.
Man I love your channel.
I like that style interior, cabinets, lights and couch and floor color
With Belarus and hence Russia as Poland's neighbors I can see why bunkers would be popular. The bunkers look great Ron.
I like how nice looking they are. They do look like a house.
How would a solid steel shelter not already be EMP proof? Is it a matter of replacing the door gaskets with faraday gaskets, putting mesh in the ventilation ducts, or what?

I believe Ron said in a previous video that you would just have to leave it out in the mud room until it was safe enough to take it outside.

That's stupid. Propane can and has exploded in several bunkers therefore you do so at your own peril
Why be dependent on Diesel for power it's not a good long-term solution. Hydro or Nuclear would be better in the long term
