Great video. I know it takes a lot of hard work to create such videos, so thank you very much.
Here are my observations:
1) Never buy the two-year package to save some dollars. I took your advise and paid heavy amount for a two-year subscription and now I am stuck. Nothing works when my Surfshark is active. I do a lot of trading on various exchanges and watch a lot of vids on this platform but as soon as Surfshark kicks in, everything stops working (although my computer is still connected to the internet). I must "Pause" Surfshark in order to load web pages. As soon as I pause the VPN, everything magically loads withing 5 seconds. I have tried everything for example, Automatic, OpenVPN (TCP), OpenVPN (UDP), WireGuard but nothing works. If only I had bought the monthly plan, I would have been able to terminate this stupid subscription after a month and gone with NordVPN or ExpressVPN or something.
2) Some of the options you showed in your video are not present in my Surfshark app. For example: Location 2:30 pair OpenVPN with No Borders mode. I don't have this option at all.
3) Location 3:06: I understand the importance of Kill Switch but unfortunately, I must always turn it off because in order to browse the net, I MUST Pause the Surfshark VPN anyways. If I put the Kill Switch on, my internet connection will drop when I Pause the VPN, correct?
4) Surfshark helpline is awful. They got the money for two years, now they don't care what happens to their customers. That's my observation because they never respond to my emails.
All in all, my suggestion is, don't go with Surfshark. If at all you want to experiment, go with the monthly plan first. Don't commit to two years just because someone recommended it.

Surf Shark VPN is just a scam. I paid for a 12 months subscription and my account is still expired. Days have passed and their help chat is saying payment is pending. And that I must try paying again. All while payment was already gone from my account.
Please stay far away from this scam of a VPN....
Perhaps you have paid with cryptocurrency or gocardless? As these payments take a couple of days to be processed and therefore your account is not activated right from the get go. After a few days it should be all good!

Hey! There could be multiple factors causing this issue, however, I would firstly recommend changing the connection protocol in the VPN settings. If that would not help I would highly recommend contacting their customer support. 🙌

Hello I just want to ask how do I fix my issue: Everytime I start the app the "restarting background services" messages pops up and when I click restart it will just pop up again and I couldnt make it the menu of the app
