one of my friends does a similar bag! she doesn't add a flap on hers, or do the button welts for the draw string. but she uses a 3rd circle on the inside as pockets. its about an inch smaller all the way around and she sews straight lines through the circle's diameter in a few spots to make triangular pockets on the inside so that things kind of stay in place. she used hers for jewelry though! i want to mesh these together so i have the best of both bags!
