What they call automation is really just outsourcing. If you hire a team of people that’s not automation. That’s team building. Automation is about a system that enables people to not have to do certain tasks manually. Real automation is when you receive the final video edit via email that triggers another email requesting thumbnail creation. You set it up once and let it work. Like setting up withdrawing $100/mo from savings acct into an investment acct. THAT’s real automaton in digital marketing! He did explain hiring a team, research, payola tactics, channel buying. All done manually. Seems new RUclipsrs are changing the definition of automation for clicks and to make it appear faceless channels aren’t as much work as other channels. It’s honestly misleading. You’ll live and learn.
My understanding of RUclips automation was when you use like AI to write the script, and you use AI to edit the video, such as when using Invideo or Pictory, then you use AI voice over to narrate the video, and you may or may not create the thumbnail yourself using Canva. I’ve done that, and that felt like automation.
I agree with you. The same thing with the word digital marketing. Affiliate marketers hijacked the definition.

Yeah that was pretty much what I thought; "automation" is finessing A.I. until your online business is on God Mode and you have not outsourced NOTHING! This means that A.I. is fully executed in every step of the way. That's 100% A.I. youtube automation.

Not sure how this came across my feed but I am very impressed. This is by far the most informational interview I have seen about this topic on youtube and it just must be the Bible names so I'll give God the glory for Nehemiah and David. This was literally like listening to royalty speaking. Very informative. Thank you. Now I have some tools to flex to try and grow my other youtube channel to a monetized status. Consistency is sooo important! I suck at being consistent because im doing all the things, and Im a single mom running my own business. Its exhausting.
But can I juat say Another thing we can't do, which I did and still sometimes... deleting content.
DONT DELETE YOUR CONTENT JUST POST AND KEEP POSTING.
You won't get followers if you're inconsistent. And pay attention to what people are asking you to post. Don't ignore your followers. They will ignore you eventually.
Just Some things I've noticed I've done myself.
Sis please for the sake of all that is self care hire someone to assist you. You will see greater results when you delegate just a couple of things. Prayers and Fiverr. Success in health and wealth to you❤Shalom

Respectfully, the #1 reason a YT channel fails: Is cause they Stop! 2nd is trying to copy a trending channel's topics and/or niche. It must be at least a little bit of a personal interest, more interest the easier the content creation is, equally to easier "success" whatever that is for YOU!!

YT automation is Very much talked about and promoted. sadly, by inexperienced creators. That is probably the only thing I disagree with David on. I will say, there is a automation model where editors use other creators videos and chop up and upload, and the Platforms are starting to work against that type of model. Glad David didnt talk about it, and videos are authentically made by his team.

Also the channel description just gives your name and says welcome to my channel. But what is your channel about? Is it lifestyle, fashion, faith-based? Sounds great but where is the receipts bro?
It’s believable without the receipts bc it’s so common. Look at all the faceless RUclips pages. My kids made a couple of faceless pages and blew up in 3 months. They have to start over though. Had too many violations so they got shut down and have to start over. But it’s 200% possible and easy to do. Just execute the plan.
