Went to London in '92 and stayed right there by the park a block down from the Albert Hall for about a week. Enjoying the views and your Vlog. It still looks familiar. This a guide to every place Anna got robbed! But seriously, having lived a lot longer, I've found that nearly every decade has been a different life. I'd say to anyone struggling now, the future will always be different than you expect.

Hey Anna! I just watched your video. Especially in the last part of the video, I deeply resonate with your message. I am going through a hard time in school and having some anxiety, I just feel like I want to get out there but I can't. Seeing your strength and having the resilience to push through in life really made me that I am not alone and I can do it as well!

Oh you go to London and take up the motto when in Rome do as the Romas do. The heck with the Asian sense of waiting for a green light, but the. As my former neighbor told us, even on a green light crossing the street as a pedestrian in Seoul can be an adventure. Those pastries looked so delicious, maybe a little dessert after dinner now.
And who wrote you can’t go back home, sounds like lots of good memories there.

My mother’s flat is on Haverstock Hill in Belsize Park. Camden, Chalk Farm and Primrose Hill are home to me when I am in London (I live in Norway). I’ve eaten at Lemonia many times!

Nice seeing you back for a time over here. I've only been London as a child and was sick the whole time. But i have never felt the want to return. I am a Northerner near Liverpool in Lancashire. I like it better here. I have to say i didn't like your Sunday roast. Big pale potatoes and large slices of meat. It may taste ok, But even i would like my own better. Smaller meat slices, Medium potatoes covered with a rich gravy and crispy edges, Not one big heap in the middle of the plate. Rather a spread out plate with a mixture of greens and veg and plenty of rich gravy. Honestly a Michelin chef. They need to visit more rural areas of the UK to do a nicer Sunday lunch. Perhaps that's just my choice though. But i guess its what you know and like. Ps, Please keep up with your music, You so lucky having such a talent. Don't loose it.
great video ! I live not far from Toronto Canada. Going on a night out there friends tell you " don't go this place and that place at night ". Visited Manchester England and same warning from People. Was in Seoul Korea in the spring and not a single area that wasn't safe to visit at night.

Yorkshire gal here and same it wouldn't occur to me at all. London is so different to other parts of the UK. If I go to London after 2 days I'm happy to leave.

For all the talks about phones being stolen across the videos and "This is London", I never got mine stolen in the past 5 years and don't know anyone who got theirs stolen either 😅.
The thing is that I moved from another big city in a western country so I see how my normal would be seen as dangerous for Koreans.
All of that to say, if you are used to cities like Paris, New York, Rome etc.. you can use the same street smarts and you will be just fine 😊
Out of curiosity, what was the rent on the flat? Rental prices have gone crazy recently so it would be interesting to know how much you paid back then.

I've never had my phone stolen but I've started holding it really close to my stomach in both hands. Looks like you're trying to hide what you're doing but I think it's much safer. That way if anyone reaches for it I can just slam my hands into my body. Much easier to react quickly in that position than the "normal" one where you hold it one handed away from your body.

i'm britsh and would prefer fish and chips over roast, not a fan of roast dinners.
Anna, beware: A typical Sunday roast is NOT healthy!! Many plates w/ trimmings run into the 1600-2000 calorie range. 😳UK establishments with 250+ employees must list caloric info on their menu by law, so you can be “blissfully ignorant” with such delicious choices at small eateries. If you’re not watching your weight though, then snack on. That roast looked divine!

I have never had anything stolen any international city let alone London and I go a lot as I am UK based. You must have been very unlucky Anna! Walk with confidence and one doesn’t get targeted.
I was very unlucky but I have big guy friends in London who got robbed too so it's just very commonplace unfortunately :(

London's main issue, too many third world migrants and their children. there, i said it. it's not the first world tourists in London, that make you feel unsafe, especially at night
