I'm African American and discovered my Igbo heritage a year ago. I have been taking Igbo language classes for the past three weeks. Your explanations about words commonly used is very helpful ... And your clear pronunciations are a lot better (but don't tell my teacher lol)
Just moved to Houston and brushed up on my Spanish to find that 75-80% of my department is African. Mark Angel mentioned Igbo and here! Two workers (at least) from Nigeria . Thank you for giving me a good start.
Am really grateful sir for all your lessons... I'm igbo and I really love Igbo language, but its really sad cause I wasn't privileged to be taught the language. I'm new to your lessons and its really helping me. Thanks a lot sir and please don't stop this good work.
This is soooooi helpful!!! Than you so much my boyfriend is Nigerian and I just found out i am 73% Ivory Coast African, (39%of that is Nigerian) I am happy to learn !!!!
‘Agụụ gị na-agụ m’! - I’ve never this expression before. Sounds a bit like a chat up line. Not sure if it’ll be appropriate for the in-laws but interesting.
Thank you so much for your comment. A video is coming out soon on simoke survival exchanges/conversations in Igbo. Watch out for it. It'll help you in your request.
