Even though I long to learn Amambra dialect, I LOVE your pronunciation! And honestly I find that if you speak Igbo too slowly it's harder to learn the language because it is so tonal and it depends on blending of vowels and stringing words together to create a specific tone and sound. I think your speed is perfect. And I realize that all I need to do is replace "h" with "f" and "r" with "l" in most words to make it sound more Anambra😏

Next, I'm gonna watch the in-laws video you mentioned, because that IS going to happen when I go to Anambra as well. His momma, all seven sisters, and all the other family members that will be there! Wish me luck! haha!!! BIG THANK YOU to you, my sister!!! Girl, I could use your help with clothing/accessories as well. I need to pick a wedding dress, think about how I'm going to do my hair and all that. If you can help me with that too, I will be SOOOOOOO grateful! maybe we can talk on FB or Whats App sometime! My boyfriend is Igbo and I am excited to learn but what is difficult is learning which letters/words have a more silent sound when said together. I’m not sure if that makes sense.. but for instance unlike Japanese where it is spoken by syllable, it seems that some Igbo words all of the syllables are not fully pronounced so it is a bit difficult for me to catch on (like the word mgbu or na agwo.. I want to say mu gubu or na agwo but it sounds like nagwo when spoken 😩) I will keep practicing!! Daalu ❤️
