I love how they are doing a girl group dance (Izone is my ult bias group ever which lead me here) but they incorporated some of their own styles and did it in a more manly way which i think its really smart of them. Imma gonna stan!

i liked it but i think it would be better if they executed it in a more elegant, flowy kind of way. because can we normalize boys covering girl group songs in a girly way just like how we like girls covering boy group songs in a boyish way.
elijah I agree! But I think it’s because they really like to incorporate their own style into covers, since they are choreographers as well as dancers. They’ve done other dance covers of female artists where they don’t shy away from the “feminine” moves. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for dismantling gender roles in the kpop industry, but I wouldn’t worry about DKB :)

It's their choice whether they want to cover the song in an elegant way or in a non elegant way, we are nobody to tell others about their dancing style. There is nothing wrong for a dancer to execute a dance cover whether of bg or gg in their own style. An individual or group can cover bg songs in an elegant way and gg songs in a masculine or non elegant way, it's their choice. And not everyone can dance elegantly. *Learn to appreciate others' effort and sometimes keep your opinions within yourselves only* because you're not the judge and they aren't contestants of your show :)
