      Larry stated later he thought there was a demand for copies of the show but there would be so much legal mumbo-jumbo to do.

    Ok, I’m not from San Diego and in 1985, I was only 5 and didn’t watch any news back then, but this is really entertaining! I like these! Great job!

    Larry was like Jimmy Buffett in the San Diego area. He was so wonderful and he spoke to my heart.

    I was starting into my teen years and living in San Diego when this show was on... I loved this unique show and remember it well.

    I knew chocher. Family friend. My family was rose growers too. Boy did this bring back memories. I was 5 when this was produced.

    You notice anything? Everybody wasn’t on their phones, ignoring the world. 😂 These were good days and Larry Himmel’s shows were something I looked forward to. RIP, Larry. Thank you.

    I remember that Mexican chicken place. It was pre-Pollo Loco and was the real deal. The Mexican style coleslaw was also really good.

    This show is where the term " Is there life east of I-5?" comes from. Still use it occasionally today but no one knows what I'm talking about.

    Loved SD @ Large growing up as a kid, I'm 15 during this episode here. Couldn't miss a single episode, especially Biff & Skippy. RIP Larry

    Larry Himmel was a great funny talented guy and weatherman and was a chicago guy that lived like a san diegan and I met him 3 or 4 times interviewed by him at a chargers game like Rod Luck another rip and his buddy was Loren Nancarrow rip and Michael Tuck Mitch Duncan jesse Macias Allison Ross etc

      I love Larry !! From Boston but lived in San Diego from 97 to 2000. But ironically didn't discover Larry until recently. What a nice guy
