being an ïntrovert and empath im so different than the rest of the world. its hard man. ive always felt more or seen more than those around me. gets tiring feeling like an alien. had to leave my mama and blood family behind. growing up and becoming awakened in this truth, i see it all now. narcissistic people all around. smh. its hurtful . but ima keep going. i got my kids and husband, ima be ok.
Man Kevin. Once upon a time when I was incarcerated for a few months , I was the only female in there that was addressed as Ms Wanda. Not just Wanda, but Ms was always first. Those ladies in there showed me more respect than family. Maybe it was the way I carried myself. Maybe it was bc I, daily, turned my rack into my study area. They’d laugh and say Ms Wanda’s done turned her bed into a desk. I’d laugh with them and say you’re absolutely right. One of the ladies that came on church nights, Tuesdays, realized after a few weeks. Bc I was always borrowing paper and pens. She told me that she noticed that I was the writer in the group. The next week she brought me a thick stack of multi colored paper which I turned right around and shared w all my sisters in there . Every week she would bring extra pens bc I usually had written the ink outta the ones she had given me the previous week by the time church rolled around the following Tuesday.
