Agreed. I was a little surprised by the amount of preemptive hate it received. It is a nice new concept that has the potential to bring us a new way to experience a rollercoaster. But it seems some ultra enthusiasts cry out loud if it is not a minimum 5 inversion RMC and just because it is a stand up and those models were not that great in the past. This ride is obviously designed to be medium thrill ride for most guests. I applaud SeaWorld that they take the risk of trying that out and being innovative. If it works, it will be a very fine ride.
I feel like we all have to hold our thoughts and see how it rides before we judge it, hopefully it does well for the sake of sea world and this coaster type as a whole 🙏🏽
Sea World Orlando is quickly becoming on of the best parks in the country. They now have 6 coasters and all of them are really good. I hope they add a wooden coaster next
B&M's new generation stand up looks amazing, hope it rides good. I cant wait for my local park, thorpe park, to start construction for project exodus, and i cant wait till its done to see it testing late 2023 or early 2024
I'm really hoping these surf coaster trains are better than their previous attempt at a stand up coaster because those were painful. Overall the coaster looks great and I can't wait to see it testing.
Incredible update Dan! Thank you for keeping us posted on Pipeline yet again. I was at Busch Gardens about a week ago and got to ride Iron Gwazi for the first time and I also got some views of the Serengeti flyer. Let me just say it’s WAY larger than I thought it would be. Also, I love how they customize each seat personally to each rider but I think that might result in train station time to be very long. So fingers crossed that the line will never be too long for this ride.
If it was a sit down I’d be impressed bc then it would resemble something like an intamin multi launch or one of those new vekoma coasters but nah they went with a standing model.
The fact that you CAN"T lock the seat a little lower is going to make this B&M's newest fail, or a complete ball buster at best. Locking the seat low was the only savior of the old style.
Hopefully we’ll see testing start within the next week
March.
It looks really good from ground level.
I’m excited for this ride, I’m surprised the amount of people putting it down, plus it’s a beautiful looking ride.

@@verybighomer Definitely, any new concept to me is interesting when it comes to coasters

They need an RMC
So good to see views from on the site. Hopefully they do a good job with beautifying the area - lots of planting and some nice theming touches.
Great close up tour, gives you a whole new perspective!
The train design is changing my opinion. I'm kind of hype now

Better have fast loading. They love to play those games with their operations...
I didn’t realize how low to the ground it truly was till now wow this might be really fun! Great coverage Dan! Can’t wait to see testing!
Do we know if the main walkway will go all the way to Icebreaker and finally complete the loop in the park?
Yes it will
@@VernRichardson328 Nice!
Hopefully the “seat personalization” aspect of the ride doesn’t slow down ops, other than that I’m excited!
Well now that we SEEM to have a new successful stand up train… It’s time to refurbish Green Lantern, Riddler’s Revenge, and bring back the MANTIS!

I'm visiting Florida in may, will it be open by then
Why are the "surf board" train bases *upside down" (fin up instead of down)? Did I miss something thematically here?
A fin underneath occluding with the track is hardly visible and arguably unsafe. It's typical theme park theming, evocative but not accurate.
When will it open
He said “as far as testing goes” then the clip cut 😔
They stated they have "no official timelines currently."
@@MidwayMayhemChannel bet thanks for the reply man 💯
Do we know when it will open?
Early May.
@@johnholder4208 late march from what ive been hearing from reliable sources
